Hogs in Reserve: A-10A in Air Force Reserve Service, 1990s
This is a skin and decal mod to bring the A-10s of the US Air Force Reserves throughout the 1990s to SF2
It features skins for both the European 1 green skins as well as the Grey Compass Ghost scheme that the Hogs settled into as the 90s progressed.
Although considered a part time frorce, the AFRES hogs were quite busy throughout the 1990s supporting operations in the Balkans and over Northern Iraq. This mod has pinpointed the aircraft of each unit as accurately as possible within each unit
Note: the 706th Fighter Squadron is covered from 1996 on, not the aircraft the squadron used in Desert Storm. most of those went to the boneyard shortly after coming home as the squadron converted to F-16s for a few years.

Skins and decals for 4 AFRES A-10 squadrons: the 45th FS "IN", 47th FS "BD", 303rd FS "KC", and 706th FS "NO" post 1996.

Installation
acquire the A-10A_93 if you haven't already (seelinks above)
unzip, cut or copy "Objects folder to preferred mod folder
fly one weekend a month or several weeks on end!

Stock A-10A High Res Skin Pack

USAF skin pack for the stock Thirdwire A-10A by Jimbib
*** Must have the stock A-10A_78 installed for this to work (included in SF2E, or SF2 Complete package) ***
This is a simple skin pack that I started years ago for the stock A-10 in WoE and never got round to releasing it so I've updated the skins to reflect the mapping for the SF2E A-10A_78. These skins will work on both the stock A-10A and A-10A_78 (earlier A-10A doesn't have the Pave Penny).
USAF skins included are:
- Grey False Canopy
- Peanut
- Flipper
- Cool Snow Hog
- Euro
Extras - I have included alternate Shark and Hog nose arts for the Grey False Canopy skin (default is set to the Snake art)
Installation notes:
1. Unzip the contents to a folder.
2. Open up your Strike Fighters 2 mod folder (e.g. C:\User\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe\...).
3. Copy the contents of the unzipped Objects folder into your SF2 mod Objects folder, allowing all files to overwrite if need be.
This was tested on the latest July 2013 patch level on a stock SF2E install, I recommend you backup your stock A-10 files should anything go wrong, I am not responsible for any damage to your install / PC.
You may not upload either the original or modified contents of this skin pack without my permission. If you wish to include these skins in a mod, please contact me here at CombatACE to discuss beforehand.
This mod is freeware and may not in any way, shape or form be used in any payware.

81TFS Warthogs

81TFS Spangdahlem AFB A-10 Skins
A few days ago I saw some Warthogs from 81TFS @ Northorn Range doing some shooting
training. It was outstanding!!!
So I did these quick skins.
These skins are for the stock SF2 Europe A-10A_78!!!!!
Thanks to Thirdwire for this great sim & stock A-10 skins!
