to Erik, is there any chance of files getting lost in the transfer, or are you pretty confident in them all migrating over?

to the modders at large, how confident are we that we have back ups of stuff, especially from the folks that arent with us anymore (im pretty sure Wrench has the entire Jedi library on a drive or two somewhere )?

A stupid question: is the download library offline now, of it's because the new download politics? There is a lot of time since my last download, but  now I can't see if there's some new file.

It's due to the site update, Erik said he's working on it, nothing to do with any politics

Any prediction on when it's coming back? I paid for the 2-day subscription without knowing that the library was down :(

Your subscription is safe. I'll make sure everyone gets full use out of them. No estimate yet, files are 83% moved. So still waiting on them to get here. The transporter packages them, secures them with an encryption, sends them, unlocks them, un-packages them, verifies the checksum on all files for integrity, makes a list of bad files, restores the good ones, all in batches. Might of put a little too much thought into that whole routine back in the day when internet connections aren't what they are today. That's what I know, good bad and indifferent.

Don't know where else to say it, but just wanted to thank and congratulate you Erik. I popped on the other day, must have been during the migration, because the site was down. Last night I try again and I was shocked and delighted at how much faster the forums work.
