This is your over-view showing 181 downloads and 29.98 GB of data transferred since January 1, 2026.

These are your specific downloads. Each downloaded twice at the same time. This means your browser is opening two connections for the same file. Browsers can do this if not configured so they appear faster when downloading content. Our system counts each connection as an individual file so it sees that we are sending you two files and maxing your limit for the day.

To fix it. Open Chrome, enter chrome://flags in the address bar, search for Parallel downloading, and set it to Disabled. Restart your browser

The same problem, Chrome is splitting files to download faster but in your case you're also using an Android OS which natively does file ranging. Setting your browser to disable ranging will likely only fix half of your problem. You likely have a download accelerator installed in Android natively, meaning you can't disable it, or it's installed as an application. Based on your downloads you can see that the file acceleration (splitting) is only happening some of the time, when Android determines it needs to file range.

You can reconfigure your devices or wait until I'm finished re-writing our file download feature, been working on it for awhile and it's maybe 40% complete.

Oh, no, no -- my downloads are working just fine! Two free files a day, as expected. My comment was simply a reaction of surprise regarding the issue Radar-Aviator encountered..

I’m sorry, of course, but it used to work better. Until today, I hadn’t had any problems with my two free downloads. Now, though, I can only download one file. When I try to download a second file, a white screen appears with the message “Forbidden.”

Now I can try as many times as I want (the system doesn’t count it as reaching the limit), but the result will be the same—a 30-second wait for the download, followed by “Forbidden.”

Yeah, I agree. I'm having the same issue now. Only one file is actually available for download, and all other attempts result in a “forbidden” error...

Re-worked the daily limit logic. Should be fixed now.

Thank you for approving me, and thanks to everyone in this community for keeping Third Wire's games alive. This game was a huge part of my childhood; I first played it back in 2008 when I was 14, and it had a massive impact on my passions and my life from then on.

I definitely wouldn't be a military flight gear and field gear collector today if it weren't for these Third Wire titles. To me, it was more perfect than any other flight sim of that era, like Lock On. The Wings Over series and SF2 hit the perfect sweet spot between casual gaming and realistic simulation with just the right amount of authentic aerodynamics. That’s what has kept me hooked for the past 18 years, regardless of other, more advanced sims like Microsoft Flight Simulator or DCS. Sometimes I just want to take a plane out for a quick spin around the map for some casual fun, and SF2 does this incredibly well.

Since it’s a piece of my childhood and has shaped so much of my life, this game will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm so glad I found this community, even if it feels a bit late for me. Knowing that so many people are still dedicated to this game warms my heart and makes me truly happy. God bless you all.
