Chugster Posted Saturday at 11:51 AM Posted Saturday at 11:51 AM (edited) An all in one pack with modern aircraft like the F-15E, A-10C, F-35, F-22, Eurofighter and the latest Flanker variants? Or do i need to download them individually? Which can be frustrating with the 2 download limit Edited Saturday at 11:53 AM by Chugster 2
Flanker562 Posted Saturday at 12:00 PM Posted Saturday at 12:00 PM To my limited knowledge of the downloads, there isn't one. You're going to have to download them individually. As for the download limit, yeah, as staff, I get unlimited access or some restriction, but I still pay the Subscription to get unlimited downloads and to support the site. That's the only way to not have a 2 downloads-a-day limit. 1
Muesli Posted Saturday at 12:54 PM Posted Saturday at 12:54 PM The whole reason for the individual a/c on download, is to annoy you... No seriously... there are many planes made by many modders. Some require patching and/or upgrading and it's too much hassle to redo or compose a pack each time. And secondly, the download limit is there for a reason, for you to share the burden of the bandwidth of the content and the downloads. Pay more, download more... easy peasy. And otherwise, patience is your friend. 5
daddyairplanes Posted Saturday at 01:48 PM Posted Saturday at 01:48 PM if you want a pack, look at teh mega mods. I myself have done some mixed wing mods with multiple aircraft type (but not a full mega mod). but the most modern i get is about mid 90s. for what you want the closest is Operation Darius, but that mod was done around a decade ago if your looking for modern as in 2010 and later, keep in mind that SF2 is a Vietnam war game at heart. many modders have done work arounds to bring modern aircraft AND their avionics in game. but it doesnt always work and the first thing mentioned when someone complains that a F-35 or J-20 radar doesnt work right is that "its only there via workaround, the game isnt designed to support those features". only reason we get along ok into the 90s is the stock teen series jets 2

Ok i know i came across as a bit of an arse, but who here hasnt got annoyed to find something that used to be free and unrestricted is now restricted or behind a paywall? I will pay at some point to do a load of downloading so dont worry 1

The system is necessary to pay for the space and bandwidth of the files and the traffic. This site does not run on thin air... 1 2

Me, for example, I am not annoyed. Actually, I am happy that all my mods -> those countless hours since 2013- are quite safe...stored somewhere in the pantry of one absolutely generous guy. Thanks to that, all mods are still free here. Can you point out which mod is behind the paywall? And there ...maybe moders should pay for servers, so all free users could download for free. This is fair, right? And you are not new here; I can see. Believe me, single aircraft mods are a much better choice. All modders are really putting their whole heart into one object... And you can see and feel it when playing...check Greek F-5 mods...You will know why. 3 hours ago, daddyairplanes said: damn dude, a calm post for a change Aren't we all calm these days? 1 2
Wrench Posted Saturday at 05:47 PM Posted Saturday at 05:47 PM Paywall? Shit, man, try dealing the bullshit in just TRYING to get access to the Dev A-Team site. You've no idea how lucky you are! 4
Erik Posted Saturday at 08:23 PM Posted Saturday at 08:23 PM What a joke of a post. You know what Chugster if you have something to say, spit it out. I am not one to allow you to continually take cheap shots at me like I owe you something, I do not. In two weeks you've downloaded 5GB of data from us for free and you're complaining about download restrictions? Unbelievable. 8
Muesli Posted yesterday at 06:46 AM Posted yesterday at 06:46 AM We're getting flooded by entitled people, demanding free sh** without any own contribution. Whining about paying a small amount to keep this site running. On one hand you have the whiners who say "in my country my living standard does not allow me to pay this" to which I say that you need to prioritize better than to bother us with it. On the other hand you have the people who whine about the few bucks this site costs them, but on the other hand do not blink an eye to pay 8 dollar for an awful Starbucks "coffee"... I hate the entitlement nowadays of people, their naive attitude that they "have the right to"... Last time I checked, nobody was forced to visit this site, to play the game and to download a mod. Don't like it? Please move on! 4 3
daddyairplanes Posted yesterday at 02:42 PM Posted yesterday at 02:42 PM what makes me laugh is the whole "pay for mods" mentality you dont come in this "store" and "pay" for mods if youre patient and participative, you dont have to pay at all if you want unlimited stuff, then pay a cover fee to get into lotsa mods club. but participation in the group discussion is free. not being a dick (openly, on the sly, or just ignorantly of others) is also free they got it real good with unlimited on a trial sub. my suggestion at the start of it was to put a limit on downloads for trial subs, and only go unlimited with month or more. but boss man didnt like that. so as was said, skip a fast food meal/overpriced coffee and get your hearts content, or readjust your priotities until 7 bucks/ 5 quid/ 9000 IQD/ 5500 bolos/ 602 rubles isnt that big of a dent in your living expenses 3 1

Flanker562 Posted yesterday at 03:51 PM Posted yesterday at 03:51 PM Alright calm down, it's either this thread or the other one where he said he knows he can be "quite an arse". I mean I don't disagree with you all, but his attitude isn't that bad as before. But there is some self-awareness, no need to always pile on either.
