Just got news that two planes from polish "Żelazny" acrobatic group collided in air during Radom Airshow 2007, Poland. The pilots didn't make it. Hopefully no one on ground was harmed in the accident.

One of the killed pilots (Col. Lech Marchelewski) was actually founder & leader of the "Żelazny" group, and, yes, it was planned as his last acrobatics show before retirement. They planned to show some extra features to the audience...

Irony, isn't it?

Yes, on film it looks like he was about to catch debris, but to my understanding of the acreobatics presented, he was going away from the spot where the collision happened. Anyway good there were no three...

And I was to be there on the ground but got sick...

Yikes! From the looks of it one of the planes completely disintegrated into little pieces, could it be possible??? What planes were they flying?

Was dreary weather too... may the pilots RIP...
