He guys,

Do you have some background on this SimHQ issue?

http://www.simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?...398#Post2480398

The magic word "payware" has appeared, which makes me kinda suspicious. But of course, if there is an honest issue I'm ready to back off immediately.

The person who made this available for download has a nasty habit of using either people's work without permission, or without crediting them for it.

SimHq forum says that is a Mig21Bis with cockpit for WOI, but after that seems that the plane will be payware, can't find any new about it anywhere but maybe I'm getting old

The model used in WoI isn't a real '21bis anyhow. It uses the 21MF's lod. The real '21bis has the dorsal spine extending past the leading edge of the vertical stabilizer. I remember someone was working on an authentic 'bis model a while back, but AFAIK, it was never completed.

These are "old" images (couple of weeks now - but they were handy)

That is Pasko's BiS with proper (Paladrian) pit and Jimbib skins. Mod is more then 95% done now.

Didn't someone release a bis pack a while ago?

EDIT: reread the thread, just noticed starfighter2's post. Niiiiice!!!

Now, that's more like it!

So, problem solved, I guess, and with some interesting prospects! Flyable Mig is an absolute must for the Tk series, and I guess in WOI the fight will be more "even" since the Sparrows are less deadly.

Another jewell for rock Mig fans... And for every pilot too

Bis will enjoy WOI users, Johan217s mideast wars users, ex Warsav packt members, russian members etc...

Can not wait for this big Mig-21 family member - the best from standard Mig-21 versions.

OK, I am going wait :shout::biggrin::clapping:

Excellent :clapping:

BTW, that skin resembles the Serbian Air Forces current paint job (or atleast it could be used for a SAF skin).

Indeed Wrench, a proper bis would be a wonderful addition for MiG-21 fans...

And, if templates come out, I'd love this skin....

Nice for WOE or the EAWEuro terrain.

If I get you right - still there...BiS N/L was "evolution" from MF/SM airframes.

"Flanker" style pit have Bison and MiG-21-93. Maybe I can talk with Pasko to make those too. More advanced avionics, hmmm sounds good

tflash, it's good to see this thread isn't taking the same route as another you started.

:good:

Then again, the offender hasn't shown up here.
