TMF weapons pack fixes the Migs, but not why the F15E now does not have missiles loaded already. I know why the F22 tank isnt, no biggie, but it should at least have the sparrows and aims loaded along with the sidewinders...

There's no problem but asking to Florian would be the best!

I've also modified the MF mig-29 data and loadout for Krizis weapons, and I'm working to do the same on others 29's.....and FSW fighters....but I can't say more, cause I've promised!

in what way are you modifying your data?

Just wanted to thank the Mirage Factory for releasing these fabulous Fulcrums. I've been drooling over the teaser pics for over a year now, and the wait was more than worth it.

Yes, the MF MiG-29 raised the bar alright...raised it into orbit around frakkin' Pluto :good:

Sure did, almost thought I was in the LOMAC bird... only thing is that the gun has 100 rounds. Easy ini fix but thought I would mention that. But I must say, it's nice to go to A2G mode and it not be cluttered by the SETKA mode, which was for when the HUD was damaged, or for more point and shoot attacks (actually an emergency sub-mode).

Damn nice work :good: :good:

@TripleThr3at

there a three different entries for each pylon, you can delete the specific weapon entry and add SOVIET to the pylons, after this you can rework the loadout.ini and you have a nice MF MiG-29 with Krizis weapons , as an example..

But I still have a question, what is the advanteage of the three different entries for each pylon? I would use one entry for each with the current capabilitys?! Or did I overseen a feature

(This is no critic just a question)

On the older ASP-17 gunsight (MiG-23BN, Su-17, Su-25 etc.) the setka was displayed along with the CCIP pipper. The laser rangefinder measures the distance to the point at the center of the setka and uses this data to make corrections to the pipper. Most likely the option to have both the setka and CCIP marker on at the same time was preserved on the newer HUDs.

The setka itself is quite a good targeting instrument when you get used to it. The principle is almost the same as using a sniper scope (I assume you have used one). However I've never managed to get it at the right possition and size to be usable in the sim.

Are you asking about the SpecificStationCode variable or something? I think the reason is to load only specific missiles onto the station. This would prevent the plane from loading a missile it was never meant to carry (for example, using the SpecificStationCode=F14 in the Phoenix stations would prevent other AHMs, especially AMRAAMs, from showing up in the Phoenix stations).

The way TMF did it is to have one hardpoint to use two or three sets of different missiles without overlapping. Using the innermost wing pylon as an axample, one weapon station entry (IRM only) would be to carry all R-73s/AA-11s, another weapon station entry using the same hardpoint (IRM, SAHM, AHM) would be used to carry R-27s/AA-10s, and yet another weapon station (AHM only) entry to carry only R-77s/AA-12s. This would prevent other missiles like the R-60 and the like from showing up. For example, this method can be used to prevent the early Su-27 Flankers (and derivatives) from loading R-77s (since they are never wired to fire them).

Also very useful if you need to offset between different types of weapons. However, this method would also resort in lots of weapon station entries, and IIRC there's a limit of 32.

Well, I used the community weapons pack on a clean Weapons folder, and the F15E and 16C have the Aim120 pre loaded. But i cannot get the Aim7 series to show up on F15E. the 7M shows 0 on the left side for some reason. with the community WP, the F15E has the F22 tank available... cool.

anyone know why the F15E wont show a sparrow? got it here at combatace...

my last post in this thread... started with the Migs...

Personally I'd stick with the AMRAAMs over the Great White Hope anyways. It's not cool to depend on that to defend me.

Besides getting a little off topic, talkin' 'bout MiGs here!

Because most of the Loadout.ini were done for the Bunyap WP cause was the only one available, than other WP's change the designation for the same AAM,AGM and so.

Example a previous AIM-7 now can be AIM7 a single line changes all

Or check the attachment type in the DATA.ini and the same reported in your weapons.ini inside Weaponsdata:

Ex

talking about the AIM-9P carried on the Turkish F-4E 2020

Weapons for that AC are based on TMF weps pack too

On IRM entries on loadout.ini you'll find AIM-9P

Go in data.ini and search for the attacment type in the station entry who carries this wep.

You'll see :

NATO,USAF

AIM-9P is written in the same way of both TMF and Bunyap pack:

Difference is the specific user nation in the wep ini.s

For TMF AIM-9P is NATO,USAF

For Bunyap pack is USN!

This is the mistery revealed, check it out on your ini.s

I know when only one WP was available, was the same for everybody and only problems were on the beginner use of the Wep editor

Now there are many WP's and all made by the efforts of different peoples:

What we gain is having almost all the weapons

What we lose is the standard codification capability of them

No one WP is better than the other, everybody spent a lot of time and sweat to do it

maybe there are some weps done better than the other:

Now install an aircraft and let full work is more harder than before,we must work more to check all entries in function of our weapons

What we need is a a single WP that have all the weapons include in the various pack and the standardisation of the entries mentioned before.

I repeat No ones WP is better than the other one, everyone was made for a common role:

Be useful for the all community

And we must thank all involved in,ok,now situation is like the Falling of Babel Tower but common efforts to put each other in one will be the great move to do

Anyway was not my intention hijacking the thread of this beuty, was just to let somebody who doesn't knows how something works-like weapons-anyway KB exist!

better is open another thread to optimize for different WP's and various loadouts!

All I can say is.........FULCRUM!!!

Awesome bird, and a flight I did last night sounds almost like a fluke, but it wasn't........

Chose to do an intercept mission in the year 2010, so went off with my group of red cohort. Get to the IP, and find we have to intercept a squadron of Tornado ECR........supported by a squadron of F-22s! I thought my flight was as good as dead, but we only had one loss, and I accounted for 2 x F-22 and 3x Tornado ECR.

A thoroughly satisfying mission that I thought I was gonna lose, but it was nice to turn the tables on the "Blue Forces" for a change!

Beautiful aircraft, well done all.

Andy.

I was so busy adding the right planes to my various installs that I only had time for one mission last night....

Took a flight of 2 Russian MiG 29Cs for a recon mision over the Black Sea terrain. En route we were intercepted by 2 Ukrainian MiG-21s. They never stood a chance, falling to an Archer each.

As we got back on track the RWR started to chirp and my wingie started calling missile launches, but Red Crown was saying we were clear of threats. I took us down into a valley and we flew NOE to the target, an airfield just over the Turkish border.

We overflew the airbase low and on 'burner and the air defenses opened up but never caught us. There were some Ukrainian An-12s on the tarmac, which should give the Brass the excuse they need to widen our offensive. No doubt we'll be flying sweeps and escorts in future.

On the way out we picked up a flight of Turkish 8 F-4E 2020s on the nose, I think they were the guys lighting us up on ingress (and the debrief confirmed it was indeed the Terminators lobbing AIM-7s at us. I would have gone for them but thought discretion was the better part of valour, and we went back down low and around them instead, and made a fast run for home.

Looking forward to flying more missions tonight, and going up against them too.

Great release guys.

I've downloaded the TMF MIG-29's and i must say THEY DAMN ROCK!!!, but there is something making me scratch my head: can they be combined with the work Lindr2 is making, since he has another job on this pretty, little, deadly bird, or this is something of our choice???

We think that our Fulcrums are fine on their own. Lindr2 isn't the only Russian in the world, and our guys consulted numerous Russian sources (including the pilot's manual, which I think is definitive) while putting this plane together.

This is a great add-on and I love the cockpit.

I have a poster of a MiG-29 cockpit somewhere and this cockpit looks very similar.

I picked up the poster at an Airshow at RAF Fairford in 1991 from a couple of Czech pilots that had flown in and brought some goodies. They were mobbed needless to say, especially as they were only selling the posters for a quid as they thought that was a lot of dosh :) They soon put their prices up and went home very happy. I think their fuel tanks had a few crates of Bud in them and there were a few NATO pilots sporting Russian-style furry hats as well.

Agreed, we had people who had access to a depth of information. It took us 2 years to do this, 2 years to get it right. Rest assured we did it to the utmost of our ability with the wealth of information we gathered. I see no reason to use anothers works when we did the job already. That is basically a slap in the face to us by implying "Well it looks good but we don't think it's correct."

Some of you are really killing this hobby by such attitudes. I am now at the point of shear disgust with the hobby because of a few in the community. I havent fired up the sim in weeks. I got the B-1B, my Viper Blk 10 project, and a few others on hold because of the lack of motivation to do anything. The hobby has now bred a community of rivet counters and nit pickers so much so that the life has been sucked out of my favorite past time. No matter how high the quality, someone ALWAYS find a gripe. If it was a low quailty POS, full of bugs, I can see the complaints but it isn't (TMF hasn't released a POS to date) and still the covert overtones of said rivet counters/nit picking continues.

Again I just shake my head in disbelief.

Thanks a lot C5 i think we are very pleased with your planes, many, many times superior to the payware ones, no ofense to them, just thinking loud.
