ndicki Posted May 2, 2009 Author Posted May 2, 2009 Anybody have, or is making the skin of Hans Joachim Marseille, the Afrika Star??? Easy enough to do. Wait a bit... Quote
dsawan Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 thx again. is there a chance a weathered version or one with wear and tear could be released also? Quote
ndicki Posted May 2, 2009 Author Posted May 2, 2009 thx again. is there a chance a weathered version or one with wear and tear could be released also? It is weathered. Much more weathering and it'll be back to the metal! Unfortunately it doesn't show as crisply in SF as in... Quote
Alexander51 Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 That is some excellent work! I still love Bf109s. The Bf109E and F versions have been my favorites for many years. Quote
ndicki Posted May 2, 2009 Author Posted May 2, 2009 Russo's 109E is very nice. Here's one I've been messing about at using his template. Still needs a bit of work to line a few things up correctly. Quote
ndicki Posted May 2, 2009 Author Posted May 2, 2009 Anybody have, or is making the skin of Hans Joachim Marseille, the Afrika Star??? This any use to you? September 1942. Unfortunately it's impossible to do a version with the higher delimitation between the colours, owing to the way the model is mapped. Quote
dsawan Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 Nice. keep em coming. How bout grey skins with a touch of camo on them? Quote
ndicki Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 Again, I need to see how it is mapped. I've got a sneaking suspicion that there will be trouble with the wings... Marseille has just been submitted. Be patient and all will come to those who wait! Quote
Hans Topp Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Ndicki your are fantastic, only i do that this skin don't shoot me in Afrika Quote
Shaolin Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Maybe a stupid question, but is there a FM fix for the 109E and F out there? The rudder works pretty... strange on them! Quote
Wrench Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 no FM fixes for any of them yet. I do know that GregoryP is working on the Mustang, as that has the most easily accesable data. (meaning: he sent me copy that I havn't had a chance to test yet!!!) I know him from waaaaaaay back in the ATF/FA days of the 714 Libs and such. Hopefully, he'll be able to dial it in to ~ 2% range he likes so,to answer the original question, in post-patch or WW2 SF2 installs, expect a 'certain amount of squiffiness' and other odd behaviours wrench kevin stein Quote
