Fubar512 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I present "TWO WEEKS!, the motion picture" TWO_WEEKS!.wmv Quote
Fubar512 Posted September 11, 2009 Author Posted September 11, 2009 Progress as of today: SAM systems....all done Flight deck VTOL config....successfully implemented & tested AAA batteries...8 of 10 turrets working independently, will engage multiple aircraft simultaneously. Two turrets (port fwd sponson CIWS mounts) still need to be activated. Thanks to FC for taking the time to create a super-sized measuring tool This video will show you the Kiev's main mounts and CIWS batteries operating independantly against two attacking aircraft. I deactivated the SAM systems for the video, as it's pretty hard to get (and stay) this close, when they're operating. Kiev_AAA_test.wmv Quote

Sparkchaser2010 Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I'm not attacking that thing, no way Awesome work! Quote
mono27 Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Wow!! Both projects (Kiev carrier and Yak-38) at the same time! Excellent work!! I will wait for them, for the moment i am thinking on campaign where i can use them. They both look great! P.D.: Here I post some nostalgic pics of the Yak-38 making appearances in old PC flight sims, what a days! haha. Quote
Fubar512 Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 Getting close to release. I've nicknamed this video "ticking off the AI". In the video, the Kiev's defenses are shown engaging multiple targets, my AI wingman, and myself. You'll note that the CIWS mounts are quite accurate (and deadly), inside of 2000 meters range. +76.IAP-Blackbird Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Very good work on this, and a real defended target! Quote
mono27 Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 It looks cool! I am waiting for fly missions from the Kiev carrier as my base. Quote
Icarus999 Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Wow!!! That is just freaking Awesome. I think i will start building massive naval battle mission in anticipation of it's release. Can you imagine going up against this carrier escorted by that amazing experimental mirage factory warship that you guys keep teasing us with? By the way is that aforementioned guided missile cruiser based on an actual ship? Is it going to be an official TMF release or is it just being worked on by that circle of modders? Quote
