93,000 Feet and climbing.

A new record.

PS Does anyone know why the camera positions all become strange at 115K feet? You lose the cockpit for example.

I think you reach the maximum altitude set for view, there's a line in flightengine.ini

[WorldSettings]

SectorWidth=20

SectorHeight=20

SectorMaxObject=256

Border=80000.0

MinHeight=1.0

MaxHeight=35000.0

try adjusting this one in red, me myself never had a need to test it

Thank you, that did the trick. Although I managed to get into a inverted flat spin at 120,000 feet on the next flight.

this is embarrassing

Your shiney silver F-104s should stay shiney silver as you near space under the bright SF Sun. Think about it. :salute:

FELLAS / FELLATTES, its been years since SF1 2008 and now SF2+ and all yours planes turn black at high altitude under the SF Sun in all yours CombatAce screenshotz.

Fix it. FC, maybe the Fellas will listen to you. :drinks: This is from my SF1 2008, which is as far as I went with the series.

Environmentsystem.ini ...

[HighAlt]

:

:

:

SunLightModifiler=1

AmbientModifiler=1

SpecularModifiler=1

I set ALL of these to 1, because then nothing changes, and that's the way it should be.

TK fluffed the spelling and I told him about it, and he probably fixed it since then, so they all should read Modifier, not Modifiler.

TK had no reason to add this "feature" that changes sunlight on objects at high altitude, so don't use it by setting all of them to 1.

thought the tanks would be a killa but even if VFA-32 didn't accept it... still a good scheme IMHO

:clapping: Bravo Sundowner.

BTW the nose intake warning decal just gives it a bit of a Sukhoi Su-7 look.
