Taking the new BETA Typhoon out for a test of some redone weapons skins over the North Sea ranges when we and my wingman got an emergency QRA call to a Rogue Backfire over Northern Scotland heading for RAF Leuchars which needed to be stopped!

 

ps Stary's ejection seat mod looked amazing during the gun-run which downed the Backfire.

 

 

 

 

After downing the Backfire we headed out over the beach at St Andrews and made the golfer's sooo angry they all started hitting glowing red balls at me!

That Buc pic reminded me of one I took during a Gulf War '01 test - 2x Tornado GR1 with 3x LGB, 1x Jaguar GR1 on SEAD and 1x Buccaneer doing the designating -

the McD facility is at Lambert, just next door.

 

yes, better buildings are truely needed (and would be a nightmare to place!!!; but worth the effort.) Go look at Chicago!
