What do we have already?

Texans and Harvards. Spits, Mossie's.....

Might have to do without the B-17 and the Beaufigther, as we dont have one. I want to try and put this together without have to outsource whole new models. Kind of an off the shelf mod and add to it later.

Ok it seems I have time to do something (3D,2D graphic,

or some basic ini work) then count me in.

So if somebody have list of "to do", you can send it to me.

...and JediMaster don´t call Avia S-199 a Bf-109 please :-)

Thank you Monty! You can't have an 1948 mod without the S-199.

That is still the A Team's property. We must respect that.

Monty

Want to build us a B-17?

Understood. I was not sure of its status as it is available at CA.

Yes. The B-17 would be a very nice to have.

What about a publicly available Spit pit? (I'm still not clear on the status of this.....)

Let me know if you need some help. I am working up some Spit vs. Spit missions just to see how they play out. Makes for some interesting A/C recognition problems.

well, just my 2 cents...we could get some new textures for the Spit cockpit...since that's a whole new graphic level, never seen before in this series, i think that would be a good idea....perhaps the trooper could help with some good textures.

I'm working on IDF skins for the Hudson and Catalina.

Since Slartibartfast mentioned the G.55: I think the REAF also used some Veltros, so, do we have one?

Edit:

Other available aircraft used by the REAF: Short Stirling & Handley Page Halifax.

Most have been done over the last 5 years or since WoI made it's appearence.

There's a very old thread, in the archives someplace, with a complete lisiting of aircraft for the 1947-56 time frames

Dave: don't forget, I removed almost all my DAT mods from here, and they're only at my site (with a few exceptions).

At my site:

IDF Beaufighter, but most likely missing the LOD, as per DAT rules.

Mc-205, again DAT, but complete aircraft (unfortunately needs MAJOR dataini work for 08/SF2)

S-199 (stand in) -wolf's 109G10

others:

Meteor F.4 EAF (correct, 10 historical serials in arabic)

Meteor F.8 IDF and EAF

Meteor NF14 (incomplete) -all DAT birds

IDF mossie (pasko) here at CA

RJAF vampire (pasko) here at CA (both skins by allenjb, iirc)

Syran and EAF Texans by LloydNB

Fiat G-55 is being reworked by Veltro2k; I have to dial in the cockpit for him. Would need a new skin, and correct EAF arabic serials (probly only a few dozen) But historically, they arrived AFTER the WfI, and left service ~1952ish

all the others, excepting the Harvard, are basd off DAT aircraft. Like Dave said, their wishes/ruling MUST be respected.

My IDF Harvard skin needs major reworking, but nothing that should take too long. I can reuse the FM off the AT-6G 'Mosquito FAC' for Korea; works in the SF2 KAW mod, don't see why it won't work here!

Monty will be getting my 100% historcal "dalet -num-* serial decals for the Mule today. Yes, they ARE sequential, as should be any arab S/N too -- they were assigned as the aircrft arrived, in numberical sequence.

Research has been done by your's truely ... lets get started

No I need an orbats. So if you got one I will take it.

Kevin

Looks outstanding. Send over anything you think we will need. The 56 skin would be a bonus.

You also need DC-3 Dakota for both sides EAF and IAF.

The RAF was also involved in air fights at the 1948 WOI (War Of Independence), or WOL (War Of Liberation), against both sides.
