Thank you Brain32 for this confirmation

I have to add 2 bars then (and I dont know if the game engine even has this function)

Today I could finish the main panel and then time to move to secondary panels.

It will work in SF2 series , course deviation and ( new) glide scope ( comes active if you reach the initial waypoint before landing

data entry sections from TW F-4E cockpit:

[GlideSlope]

Type=GLIDE_SLOPE_INDICATOR

NodeName=needle_course_hor

MovementType=POSITION_Z

ValueUnit=DEG

Set[01].Position=-0.0165

Set[01].Value=-3.0

Set[02].Position=0.0165

Set[02].Value=3.0

[CourseDeviationADI]

Type=COURSE_DEVIATION

NodeName=needle_course_ver

MovementType=POSITION_X

serverandenforcer, yes that is bumpmapping

I allways use all features that are implemented into game engine :-)

here is some update (I had a file error today so I had to rework something and now only clock needs to be finished)

LSK & Luftwaffe ready...

Nice bird, really nice bird. Well done everybody.

But two comments.

1. LSK (east german) L-39 had no gun. It were L-39Z0. The ones with gun were L-39ZA.

2. The L-39 was often showed with R-3S (AA-2 Atoll) missiles. But it was unable to launch this missiles, because the minimum launch speed of the missile was higer than the maximum speed of the plane. Only in dive the L-39 could reach the needed speed, but at a speed at 750 kph (i hope this is the correct value) the air brakes were deployed automatically to reduce the speed to a save level. The Albatros was a trainer, no combat bird. The L-59 was designed as a trainer and light combat plane.

Sad the lightsystem (enviroment lightning) is so bad, very good work Monty!

I will look at the textures so it would help a little, just now I have about 270 parts

in the 3D model and about 13500 polys - it will be under 20k polys and 400 parts,

when I finnish it (I dont want to see the out file :-) )

...and the ini work will take some time i think ...

one question for today:

for this plane was very specific that the engine took some time when going from iddle to full power.

9-12 seconds usualy. So how to model it? I believe that ThrottleRate=??? is the correct parameter,

but what means the number? smaller number means slower response.

xclisiv8 after two or three evenings I spent by painting this, I hate even to look at clock on my wall :-)

On some simpler gauges lets say clocks you can make lines for 10mins (60degrees) and then rotate them all around

on gauges with logaritmic scale you have to paint each line by hand. Numbers are usualy vertical so each number is placed

separately on my gauges. The ones rotating around the center are placed in another graphic program called Inkscape

which allows to connect text to spline (circle)

Maybe some vector graphic programs (like Corel, Illustrator) are better for it.

I hope it helps

There is this little app I have tried before, it paints the scale for you and numbers it as well, quite usefull.....see what you think.
