Heck Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 (edited) Beautiful, Raven! I love your P-40 series. I knew I had that P-40 Tomahawk book for a reason. Edited October 29, 2013 by Heck Quote
Wilches Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 RAVEN my dear, the P-40B/C has some important things to be known: - the windshield was curved and without any front frames. The armoured glass was internal (it seams that you already done it by the latest screenshot). - the rudder was not the same as the P-40E - the Hawk81 (AVG) used a very crude gunsight in a shape of a "screen" fixed on the armoured glass - check in IL-2/1946 simm. I´m aware of all the hard work this plane needs but I hope you consider this things. Good work so far! Cheers!! Quote
Wrench Posted November 5, 2013 Author Posted November 5, 2013 dude, seriously? need I remind you, it's still a 'work in progress?' I've given him copies of BOTH volumes of the detail and scale books that covers ALL Tomahawk/Warhawk marks, inside and out. you can't use il2 as the basis for comparison to real life or even to SF Quote
+RAVEN Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) No Refunds. Well it's getting a lower frame , it needs it to hide the "inside frame mesh". Also their in not enough difference in the tail's to warrent a remake and remap for the Five .lod's. And lastly this in not a AVG Tomahawk, they had tuned and blueprinted engines with a higher HP. field modified gun’s, sight's, PRT’s (reads coke bottle) . And I'm not putting the hole in the left rear window. Edited November 5, 2013 by RAVEN Quote
+RAVEN Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 The Screen Shot is deceiving, what your seeing is the “Armored Glass” frame. 1 Quote
Wilches Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 First class job! Forget about the IL-2/1946... Your P-40s are much better in shape and cockpit. Keep it up!! Quote
