+RAVEN Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Mk.IIc New nose,Fwd Fuselage and new wing damage with 20mm's. Time to hit the silk. 5 Quote
+amariani Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Beautiful nose lines, Raven. Even though you're just starting. You've captured it so well. Wilches, I use Stary's excellent Mid war light fighter cockpit for 51bs. They work well, in case Raven doesn't have time for a dedicated cockpit, which, if I understand correctly, are harder to create than the aircraft. I did a little mod for use on the Malcolm-hooded Mustangs. A bonus find was the little mirror at the top of the windscreen arc after removing the canopy frames. 2 Quote

You'll have to edit the cockpit ini to remove them Quote
+amariani Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I know, but that's the closest one available. Quote
Wrench Posted July 20, 2014 Author Posted July 20, 2014 first look at the new J model gunship 5 Quote
Wrench Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 somebody was asking about PBJs the other day?? The -1D is almost ready, and this is the -1H. When the glass nosed J is released, I'll do a Marine version for that one, too. Quote
Wrench Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 The Marines will be getting their new PBJ-1Js soon, too!! 3 Quote
Wrench Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 Unitl I get the new updated lod for the J (needs a few small tweeks), I thought I'd experiment with more RAF Mitchell IIIs the placement of the RNLAF triangle is just guesswork. still trying to run down 'where'; some had them, some not 2 Quote

+LloydNB Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) I thought I might do a Yugoslav Do17K. Early days but showing promise. I presume I can cover the cameras in the Do17P with a decal. Edited December 25, 2014 by LloydNB 2 Quote
Wrench Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 if they're part of the model, yes. If it's "glass" (a tga), no. SF2 doesn't allow for tga on tga action Quote
+LloydNB Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Well, I'm afraid the cameras can't be covered up. So I'll have to beg Veltro to do a Do.17K. I've updated the skin above - just some tinkering to do. Quote

+LloydNB Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Looks great. But I didn't realise you'd have to start from scratch. I thought the Do17K was a P without the cameras and a longer only partially glazed nose. Now I feel guilty for suggesting it. Quote
+KnightWolf45 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 K has a longer nose like that one now iirc M his P whit no cameras F his lime M but whit a in line engine Quote
+LloydNB Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 (edited) I like it!! Can I dare to hope that you used the mapping from the P skin? Or do I have to start again? If you want to release it with the Yugoslav skin, drop me a line and I'll send it through. Edited December 27, 2014 by LloydNB Quote
+LloydNB Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I've started to re-do my Martlet skins. I'm looking to release skins for MkI (four gun, non folding wings), MkII (six gun, folding wings) and MkIII (4 gun, non folding wings). Below is the MkI (markings not finalised. 5 Quote
+Geezer Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) Good job! The camo colors are nicely subdued. EDIT: A handful of Sea Gladiators, stored by the FAA in Alexandria as spares, were "borrowed" by the RAF during the 1940 desert war. While I've modeled the arrestor hook in my Gladiator model, I hadn't planned on painting Sea Gladiator skins. Maybe you would be interested? Edited January 14, 2015 by Geezer Quote
+LloydNB Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) I did a SAAF skin for Cocas's Gladiator some time back. I'd be happy to give your one a go. Edited January 15, 2015 by LloydNB 2 Quote
