Them there is the fsx skysim cockpit which im following..

panel done...mostly,,,,,,, starting on main cockpit soon...as its easiest bit lol

done more on panel...shroud etc etc but not able to post the present wip till on other pc..

Looks great, but the main ADI housing could use a bit of a meshsmooth!

 

Also, MachOneManuals carries the Hawk T1A manual

No reference material like the original drawings from the manual, also a lot of technical information too for making avionics / functions. It might be available for free somewhere but I've found it well worth the cost of the two manuals I've bought. Search scribd.com first tho, there is a bunch of flight manuals there.

Bit more...god this is time consuming doing details lol.(especially when working from about 20 pics etc )..good fun tho and satisfying when doing a part and  it works lol

few more bits done. few random renders..after seeing the upcoming fantastic dcs mig21 pit I wondered why bother?...lol 

had to make all new texture jpegs to paint in case I dont get permission to borrow bits etc...so been remapping stuff...few more panel bits to make,and map then start on exterior,then seat,etc etc   got good pics for the pilots legs ,hands etc..

enjoying this,might even do back seat view to use...we`ll see..

Yeah the DCS MiG-21bis cockpit is a wonder to be sure, as close to photorealism as one can get I gather. But your's is looking great indeed!

nearly done with right panel...then its onto,control column, then main cockpit spars,framing and bits n pieces,and front framing etc.after that.lastly seat,etc,and over shoulder view bits.

ok...stick added...so many different pics of them...gone with this...all panels done(controls etc) apart from night lights which is easy to do later..

That is really good work Russ, and fast too! If you intend to do more Brit cockpits you certainly have your work cut out for you  :biggrin:  (Tornado, Jaguar Gr....)

Fast?...lol Im skinning as I go...thats one thing that slowed me down in past,mass mapping and texturing start to get tedious after a few weeks lol...this way more done,and mapped\textured bit by bit...

Rudder pedals...nearly forgot them...just got to add the mechanisms for them...which reminds me...if memory serves,we only need animate canopy to match external model animation?...throttle,stick levers etc are ini driven I know..i think lol

Yeah correct. You can use the animationID=X method for other stuff too for example gear levers and stuff, anything that might have a more complex animation. Anyways, looking good!
