For game play purposes. When giving readiness information you must provide fighter units, airlift assets status. Also number of personell you think your country can provide.

For this to work, we must have mass participation. So keep up the interaction.

 

How things will work.

 

1. We will develop this in almost real time. So there might be a day or 2 or 3 in between EAM's (Emergency Action Message).

2. In the mean time it lets you get pre-deployment training done. Go to the range and bomb the hell out of it, fine tune your A2A skills.

3. To allow something that gives the end user some participation and deciding what do you, you are the commander of YOUR forces. So if you have some training or supply shorts falls. Then you send out a SITREP.

 

Example:

 

SITREP

 

FROM: HQ RAF

 

TO: SHAPE

 

Training accident will leave us one plane short for deployment. Crew ok, plane will be down 4 to 5 months. Will have to use one of our 4 spares to fill gap.

 

 

From there we will take action for shortfalls etc.

 

I still needs support elements....Heavy Airlift, tanker, AWAC's support, inter-theater airlift. Also I need some French participation too. I also did created a sep install so when mods are passed around there is no conflicts.

2-3 days in between EAMs might be too tight. Real life will interfere and we'll lose participants. I'd suggest a minimum of 5 days in between.

 

Planning Cell, huh? Not like I haven't done that before. Could be interesting.

so there are more Mission types.

The IR terrain has Iran as friendly force, so I edited IR_NATIONS to:

[LimitedNationList]

FriendlyNation001=IRAQ

EnemyNation001=IRAN

 

But that didn't work as expected.

What about next time around setting it in a stock terrain, stock aircraft, etc... (ie - full scale war in GermanyCE circa late '70's early 80's)? That way no downloads or comprehensive packs will be required. It seems like that would make the set-up work a lot less... Just a thought.

On the I downloaded an installed from scratch but check all fo them out anf post fixes. Now remember we all do not have to have the same install, just the stuff required for whatever ATO I make with the mission editor.

how is the nations issue being dealt with? meaning, iraq is enemy, iran is friendly and everyone else on the map is neutral?

I have not messed with it at all and Iraq seems to be friendly and Iran is bad guys for sure. I just got into a hell of a tussle with some Iranian F-14's vs F-15C's...
