Ed - would it be possible to set the horizontal tail a bit lower.

Well even your three-view shows a bit of fuselage above the horizontal tail and tapering down. Perhaps this illustrates what I mean better.

Actually 3-view alone is not everything to make a 3D model. Is the fuselage/wings/tailplane vertical sections that makes the correct shape. :good:

I don't think Ed, I like it!

About the Tempest, the tail is good.

I still think it's a bit too high. Put a ruler on the screen and you'll see what I mean.

you released an early version of the Airacobra in 2010, but it 'vanished'. We could USE a newer one for sure!! If you do, don't forget UVMaps so we create a new template for it (hint hint) for various skinning purposes

Ed, I have the 4+ book on the Tempests, if it'd be any help to ya. Lots of 3 and 5 views

Ed - photos of the Tempest show that the fin fillet does not extend far enough forward on your model and the tail plane is still too high. I've superimposed Russo's piccie onto your piccie (above) onto the attached psd. Just click on and off the top layer to see what I mean.
