So far we have got up to the Su-22 passing by Su-17 early/Su-17/Su-17M/Su-17M2/Su-20; all have been thoroughly researched up to the info we can get is available, and we try to make as historical as possible the camos, weapon loads and detail level...

As you were told, this is not DCS so you may feel the planes "simple", but we try to give you our best withe the tools we have, we just beg for patience ;)

Don't overly mind "simple" I just want to fly about in my su17 and blow stuff up 😌 Plus DCS isn't as chilled out as this game is so keep up the brilliant work ✌🏻 I got a book on the Sukhoi 17 family and it's got details like takeoff speeds, max range thar sort app of thing if your interested or stuck on anything

Ohhhhhh fair enough then.... if I ever seem like I'm getting unsure about anything it's because I just want my favourite jet to be done right.... and indeed it has been ✌🏻👍🏼☺️ Good job!!!!

Does anyone else read the thread title "Sukhois" as "Sukhosis" like psychosis but with Sukhoi instead of psycho in it? This might just be my dyslexia but from time to time I have to look twice when I see the thread title.

Also, beautiful cockpit guys. I am looking forward to flying from it.

The updates for the nose intakes are all done, reworked minor parts on the different versions.

For comparison, the Su-17 early version and the Su-17M, you can see a smaller dorsal spine, 2 added wingfences and enlarged wingfences on the  M, 4 more fuselage pylons

Currently we are looking for a final solution for the larger front gear bay doors, on some pics, they remain open on ground, on other pics, they are closed.

Hi, Martin, I am not 100% sure, but it seems Su-17 of the first series had the larger front gear bay doors closed when on the ground, those opened and closed only when the gear was extended and retracted. Then Su-17 of the later series were modified and the doors were made to stay open. As I understand the Su-17 was in production from 1970 till 1972 and in 1972 the Su-17M entered production. So you could have an early Su-17 with larger front gear doors closed from 1970 and later Su-17 with larger fron gear doors open from say 1971. I believe that will not be too far from the truth.

The pit mesh itself is borrowed from the exterior model and is WIP, but his panels and new parts as you can see in this and the last pictures, are great!

Thanks Logan!
