MiG-23 MF/ML/MLD/etc generic interceptor cockpit


Update:

I forgot to mention in readme there is optional "icky green" textures set in it's folder for those who find this shade of blue not to their taste. Matter of copying that one into main cockpit folder and overwriting

 

This is fairly detailed cockpit representing somewhat "generic" MiG-23 interceptor cockpit. Fits well or "close enought" MF ML MLD etc interceptors series 1 and series 2 of Floggers.

By default pre-set for use in MLD variant, so feel free to adjust to your favourite Flogger of choice. Do not use at the moment in the ground attack versions as dedicated BN cockpit is in the works

Su-17 you mean Russ?

 

to elaborate more -I passed my Su-7BMK cockpit to Centurion-1 as he wanted to make from it new Su-17 but can't say what's with that one

I started to adapt the F16 cockpit by translating to russian then recolouring it later...you any good at translating the english to russian in the pit if I send u it.no hurry...ive basic idea but get lost when doing some areas...

ahhh that one! I thought you mean some Su-16 prototype I never heard of :smile:

 

as for translations sadly I have zero skills at russian language... shoot me PM in case with more

PS: I realized this was all part of the "impossible semi transparent" story. i tried to disable the nodename entry into the [RadarScope] paragraph, but it removes some information.

I also tried to edit the MiG-23_radar.bmp, and replace the black with light grey or light blue, in order to ease the eye.

stuntman I tested several different colours for the radar display but every gives me some impact on my eyes die to nature of this display :sad: so that's something we have to live with for now

 

also you may want to remove it completely using the readar movement instrument entry -but then of course we'll have no radar which is a moot point

Its only a typo I think.....in cockpit.ini  line says

NodeName=alt_needle_100

 

looking at mesh name its Needle_alt_100

i HAVE  LITTLE PROBLEM WITH TEXTURES...

 

Comrad you have fixed that by chance? Looks like something is missing but in my case it's all working?
