+331Killerbee Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 (edited) Folks, I've been involved in the Community since 2002. I've made Suggestions on Aircraft before, Even asked for Objects to be done before. But in all of that Time, I've never out-right asked for a Model to be built until now.... There's a first Time for everything.... Well, really, I've got two... This one...... And this one............ It's only a Request. I know they may never get done.Plus I know Yall' 3-D Artist are just as busy as Hell., But it's two Birds I'd like to see in Game. I don't know why. I'm not a Vought Man. I guess they just look Cool. I guess that's it. Naw, I want to do a 1 v 1 between the 'Phantom' and the 'Crusader III'. That just sounds cool to Me. That's all......... I'm surprised that Yall' 'What-If'ers" haden't jumped on the Crusader III yet. Semper Fi! 331KillerBee Edited January 15, 2016 by 331Killerbee 3 Quote
+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 The twoseater crusader would be realy nice Quote
+Cliff7600 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 To be honest, an F8U-3T Crusader III twoseater would be great too. Quote

Snailman Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 OMG )) My first thought was... what the hell happened to this poor Crusader))) A Fallout mutant version)) Quote
+KnightWolf45 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 its only a matter off time until something pops up i think 1 Quote
charlielima Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I bet a production model would have a more squared off intake and maybe an F-4 style droopy nose. CL Quote
+KJakker Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I have to agree with 331Killerbee, the Vought XF8U-3 Crusader III is an aircraft I have wanted it game for quit awhile myself. I remember searching the downloads What-If section for it at one point but I was a new member here at the time and did not want to bother our busy 3D modelers at the time. It had since slipped my mind until this thread reminded me of it. Quote
fallenphoenix1986 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I'd welcome both, always had a soft spot for the Two-sader. Craig 1 Quote
+Cliff7600 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 About a twoseater F8U-3 I was thinking about keeping the same nice F8U-1T canopy. 2 Quote
+Coupi Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 (edited) Hello, The Killerbee Topic gave me the idea to start a project with Blender. I've chosen the Mystère IIC. This was a 50s fighter between the Ouragan and the Mystère IVA. This is my first steps. I find this is very difficult!!! I hope to progress day after day... I try to memo the different Tools and functions. YouTube tutos are very useful. Would be you interested I create a new topic for my project into the SF2 modding section? Best regards, Coupi. Spinners Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Chapeau Coupi! I love the Dassault method of fighter evolution across the decades and for anyone who might be tempted to say that we already have the IV there is nothing but a passing resemblance between the two. Hope this goes well. Quote
+KnightWolf45 Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Nice Coupi if you need help feel to PM me but i work on Max and dont know a thing about Blender! Quote
JungleThing Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Great work! Any chance for a brand new Ouragan? Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Coupi IIRC Blender will work only if you get another kind soul to open the file in max 09 so it then cn be exported. But very interested in seeing how this goes Quote
