One more question - and thanks.  I'm getting a new Win10 machine.  I've emailed ThirdWire but gotten no response.  Will the SF2 sims listed under the Win7 page work on Win10?

Thank You

Yes.  Usually with no mucking around.  But sometimes Nvidia drivers can cause hiccups.

Yes they work on Win 10 - there might be a few tweaks if you have issues.

TW don't officially support them on W10.

You might have better luck with Facebook/Twitter these days to contact them

up until the last nvidia driver update it was all working fine.  Now they've all crashed and won't run.

has anyone heard of a fix?

I haven't heard of any 'fixes' except to revert to the last working nvidia driver.

working with nvidia we found the solution.  It is a combination of older video drivers and settings.  I am back in (occasional) business.

if anyone needs the technical how-to, I can provide.

@russouk2004 it won't run at all. Nil. Nothing.

Double click desktop shortcut.... asks if publisher exe should be run... yes... screen flicker. Back to desktop. Repeat.

Can be drivers - can also be another program stopping it starting.

Right click on the games desktop shortcut and in compatibility tab - tick run as admin, also tick disable full screen optimisations. Also try set to run in compatibility mode for Win 7

go into windows 10 settings -> Gaming as switch off all in there.

Driver update caused my pc to take a trip to Texas for repair lol. Supposed to be legit and from the website no less... so I'm leary on that...

Done.Done. And Done on the rest. Nothing. Same results.

Thanks,
