Nightshade/PR Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 Nope, I'll pass. Thought old dude was going to lose a head to the blades at one point, but kudos to him getting it off the ground 1 Quote
+Stratos Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 I will too, this chopper seems something exited from a steam punk movie. 2 Quote

bazillius Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Yeah, real true airsimmer is not afraid of flying coffee grinders Quote
+Wrench Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 I'd have to think about it, but it would be yes. Quote
+Gepard Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 The Kamov-26 was always underpowered. To fly this helicopter it was neccessary to push the engines to their limits. There was no power reserve for emergencies. IIRC there was a Ka-126 with gasturbines, which was a much better helicopter. 1 Quote
Viggen Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 After it's had a full track and balance, drain and flush, lube, and torque checks completed, sure. Quote
