I said it before. A responsible airline does not fly over these types of zones with extreme tension and civil uprising whether they can or not. Troops are moved on commercial airlines all the time. You want to gamble with your passenger's lives over a thousand dollars worth of fuel, suffer the consequences and be labeled a mass murderer. Malaysian Airlines are just that. The only thing they are worthy of is a going out of business sign.

I understand this is a high altitude route. I wouldn't put 289 passengers and crew let alone a 291 million dollar asset at risk just because a route *can* be flown, it shouldn't have been flown. This plane should have never been in this airspace. If the airline company was responsible they would have re-routed further to the south until such time that the tension in on the ground were resolved. Spending extra money on fuel to guarantee the safety of their passengers is not just their responsibility, it's their job and a cost of doing good business. Malaysia Airlines should adopt a new slogan, "never get home again with Malaysia Airlines".

Malaysian Airlines is trying to replace their fleet of aging aircraft under the radar. Any airline operator that flies over a country in civil distress is gambling with human lives. Any passenger that willing flies this known route by Malaysia should be considered cattle lead to a slaughter. My condolences and thoughts go out to the families left behind.

I'm not privy to that information. Hence the reason I took the time to make sure we are ready to move. If they screw up a graceful shutdown, move, and restart there will be hell to pay. I do have confidence they will be able to handle their own move. My concern prior to that was to actually do a restart to see what normal checks the system would generate and that all devices and services would come back up after restart. I don't restart our machines for any reason they are all handled live and prior to this morning we had 374 days of uptime which corresponds to when I upgraded our machine last year. Prior to that I think we had 981 days of uptime. I hate seeing that counter reset it makes me sad but there are no alternatives.

For the past few days I've been making backups and preparing for some changes which required a complete reset of services. Because of that we had a brief period of being offline this morning, about an hour, while the file system verified OS integrity. We then had a period where files were being audited across our machines, about five hours. Everything is back up and running as it should be with all things accounted for and disks verified. This is in preparation for our physical machines to be relocated to a new data center at the end of the month. Our data center is moving to a new state of the art facility with improved connectivity. We will be offline again toward the end of the month for a couple hours while our machines are physically delivered to the new location. I will update this post when I have an actual time. Thank you for your patience while we searched for cob webs.

CLEAR ATTACHMENTS -
Our subscriptions are at an all time low. This month we've received 11 monthly subscriptions netting us about $67.00 dollars, combined with our GoogleAds we have been working in a net monthly deficit. In January when I posted this we raised $837.00 dollars, not huge, but it has kept us running with our ad income until this month. I don't mind donating my time here, I actually enjoy it. However, the bills are another story. We need your support, continued and short term. Thank you in advance. Please Subscribe or Donate

It's the very hollow sound of the Arabian or Egyptian flute. Gives you a longing feeling, been around since time began. Try these.

No there's no trick, the mobile interface is bad. It's slated for upgrade to something in line with 2014 technology in the near future. The software release for our site is going into beta in the next week or so. So pending a few point upgrades to snuff the major bugs we'll be making that migration when it's ready for consumption.

Personal clouds are the way to go or a mass storage device on the network. Companies charging for online cloud services are expensive. I looked into it about 12 months and 4 months ago for the site and it would more than double our monthly expenses. Disk space is the commodity that is expensive in cloud infrastructures.

Going to need to google how to get lemonade out of my laptop now. You won't learn how to at a younger age. There are no step by step instructions. You have to dig in and get your hands dirty. These guys are modding a game developed by someone else. The best you're going to find is the knowledge base. We aren't trying to be rude, but you have to learn sometime. That's the enjoyment part of it, so you're missing the whole point of what they do. If you want to pay someone to mod the game to your liking then you should ask for just that.

Have you tried using the "search" feature? I just ran a simple search for LGB using both our search engine and googles and the results were prolific. You'd probably be able to find something more specific with an advanced search. I really don't think you're reading or digging through the material here. You can't use an LGB without having a laser pod loaded for targeting, and you can't display the targeting if you don't have a display loaded. So just because you have a weapon available doesn't mean you can use it.

That's good to know would have never thought of that but it makes sense. Should be an easy way to go between the two. You know those sex deprived developers didn't just forget about it. A quick search of the google interweb shows me this, "To turn on private browsing touch the URL field to bring up the keyboard and touch Private (above the letter Q) at the upper left of the keyboard." Good luck!

That has to be a browser side setting. We don't determine if a cookie is saved, we just send it. It seems to be working on my iPad but I don't have a mini. Staying logged in also works on my Android phone. Have another look at your settings and let me know, I'd have to dig into Safari probably. Glad my fix worked. Test post from Android based mobile.

Try it now and let me know. I created a mapping for it but can't guarantee the fix. We do have plans to update our software when it's available which has a major updates to how they support mobile devices and tablets. As well as push our skins to keep our standard look just in a smaller scale to make it fully functional.

Just A Dumb Question
Erik replied to Chutedangle's topic in Site Support / Bug Reports / Suggestions
It's a site cookie, nothing to be alarmed at. Once you log in it keeps you logged in until you log out or the cookie expires. We do this because some people may have a slow internet connection and some files can take hours or half a day for them. If the site logged you out it would cause problems. I also think the remember me tick mark on log in only remembers your log in name, the browser itself would remember the password depending on your browser settings. -
The assumption there's fish in there is probably not correct, it's fish flavored.

I had to substitute Hydrocodone for Valium last night. After just waking up I can tell you this works miracles. God bless you!
