  1. Couldn't tell you the Boldface stuff...looks A/C specific. However, some of the other stuff: Maximum ITT - Don't know...maybe Max Internal Turbine Temp? Maximum Np - Max Prop RPM? Maximum N1 - Max Turbine RPM...most jet powered aircraft have something similiar...though a turbofan may have N1, N2, possibly even an N3. Symmetric and Asymmetric Acceleration Limits - Basically G limits, if pulling straight back (like a loop) or pulling while rolling (like a barrel roll). FC
  2. Yep, Jrz is full in the middle of ENJJPT, he'll know better than anyone. Hmmm...setup for a T-6 ride...not too shabby. Better than a T-1 for sure... FC
  3. I haven't checked it yet, but I bet the hierchary order or mesh names in your reduced poly LODs are different than your primary LODs. The mesh names must match, and the hierchary must remain the same. You can delete parts of the hierchary, but only from child to parent order (ie if the hierchary is like a tree, you can only cut from the branch tips to the trunk in that order...). FC
  4. Already exists. Fixed in last patch. FC
  5. For those who might be confused...this is an alternate history that basically started when ****** was forced back to the time of ***** * ****, destroying the ******. After that, everything is a new time track...everything. There was no time jumping after the initial appearance of the ******. The only time jumps were in the narration, which is why you see what you see at the end. Man, I haven't seen the movie yet and I know the whole thing... Frankly, I'm happy they went this way...it allows a whole universe of new stories without 'destroying' the old universe. And I really don't care about the diehard 'old' fans who think it's a travesty that the old universe has been abandoned...they've always got their DVDs if they want to revisit that universe. Paramount has succeeded...the majority of the old fans love the movie, and a bunch of new fans have been created. The franchise has been revitalized and brought into the 21st century. This comes from an old fan from way back...welcome back Star Trek! FC
  6. Search the downloads section. FC
  7. Great to hear folks....can't wait to see it, everything I've heard (well, except from a very few haters) has been overwhelmingly positive. FC
  8. Well, bigal1 has probably found out much to his chagrin that a store bought model does not necessarily a good LOD file make. That's why he was concerned about his store bought B-1B and XB-70 models and having to map them. The B-1B model and cockpit he showed on here I have as well and are extremely poly heavy and would require significant optimization to avoid losing the details. FC PS And that B-1R is just WAAAAYYY too strange. Cool...but strange!
  9. Well, no kiddin. Just as long as you're not one of those idiots thinking pointing a green laser (or anything that shoots) at an aircraft on final is cute...yes, it has happened. I don't take kindly to it, especially as a FDX MEM based A300 pilot. FC
  10. I was thinking the same thing. Flags are fairly large exercises involving a lot of aircraft. 5 aircraft (assuming you put up 4 with 1 spare) isn't really a good representation of a large scale engagement, including simulated IADS, etc. The low numbers would be more appropriate for 1V1, 2V1, test type engagements which would be good in limited tactics development. Hmmm...part time Flanker guy... FC
  11. Holy crap, I know one of the guys who's running the company operating them...we used to fly together back in the day. Hmmmm...might have to drop by and say howdy... FC
  12. Thanks a lot...I know it's a lot of work! FC
  13. Okay. The RF-101C was not made to be compatible with the 2nd generation of TW sims (SFP2/SFV). However... The RF-101C requires some stock bitmaps that are in the first generation TW sims (SFP1/WOx series). Find what those bitmaps are, extract them from the appropriate CAT file, and put them into you RF-101C cockpit directory. Use a HEX editor to look inside the cockpit LOD file to find the specific bitmap (it'll be bitmaps named that don't exist in the cockpit directory). Before you ask, use the search function here to look up 'CAT extractor' to find it, download it, and use it. Also, use Google to find an appropriate HEX editor...DO NOT actually hex edit anything, you're just using it to view. Finally, use our knowledge base (located right here at Combatace) to learn the definitions of some of the terms I used if you are unsure. FC
  14. How about making it part of the landing gear cycle? It deploys when the gear comes up... Or, make it part of the flap cycle...only deploys when the flaps come up. FC
  15. Dude! My old squadron! Awesome! FC
  16. Look at the weapon supply lines in the campaign ini files. You can't just change the aircraft, you have to change what weapon the squadron gets supplied with. FC
  17. Seeing my son make it to his 2nd birthday.
  18. Spinners, Are your F-5Fs missing their colored lenses (position light covers)? FC
  19. It's double the work. Ask Amokfloo (who did the M2000D cockpit). You can 'wished we had this' all you want... FC
  20. You need to link the parts together. The 'child' mesh will move with the 'parent' mesh. FC
