  1. Well, in areas where an IADS and enemy aircraft are non-existant, bombers are actually one of your best options with modern PGMs. They have loiter time, speed (in the case of the Bone), payload, and multi tasking capability. The Bone for instance has been heavily sought after in the big sandbox for those exact reasons...'Fastest with the Mostest' as it were. FC
  2. No....really? http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=7807 FC
  3. Also, certain Falcons could not be carried. The later AIM-4F and G models could not be carried by the F-102. FC
  4. Hey! Who did that? That hurt my ears! FC
  5. Something to help Ed in pylon building: FC
  6. Let me say this one more time...since I said it anyway: NONE of the old skins will work the new models, period. FC
  7. No, it is not possible in random missions. FC
  8. Wait, you said the new F-111A skins show up? If the new skins show up, that's all you need. FC
  9. White skin means no skin. Which sim? FC
  10. Try it now my friend. File updated, includes additional readme and acknowledgements, the ejection seat, and some other info. X RAY, can't tell ya what's up with the Tiger.LOD thing...the pilots are most definitely not part of the model. FC
  11. File updated, includes additional readme and acknowledgements, the ejection seat, and some other info. FC
  12. I'll take care of it Eric. FC
  13. Ah...now that makes sense! That explains the unusual configuration. FC
  14. You need to extract the F-15_data.ini located in the Objectdata.CAT file. Then edit the F-15_data.ini (after putting it into your F-15A directory) to switch the ACES seat. Search for the term "CAT extractor" to learn how it works, where to get it, and how to use it. Also, refer to our Knowledge Base. FC
  15. Make sure you delete the entire old version of the F-111A before installing the new version. Also, any skins for the old version of the F-111 are not compatable with the new version. FC
  16. The F-102 didn't carry Genies operationally. If you want to carry AIM-26s in the center bay, replace the [CenterMissileBay] entry in the data.ini with the following: [CenterMissileBay] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=3 StationGroupID=3 StationType=INTERNAL AttachmentPosition001=0.0000,-0.6163,-0.5748 AttachmentPosition002=0.0000,1.4313,-0.5748 AttachmentAngles=0.0,-2.0,0.0 NumWeapons=2 DiameterLimit=0.280 LengthLimit=2.15 LoadLimit=240.0 AllowedWeaponClass=IRM,SAHM,NUC AttachmentType=USAF ModelNodeName=CenterWepsBayPylonMountRail MovingPylon=TRUE RotatingPylon=FALSE AutomaticDoors=TRUE BombBayAnimationID=8 BombBayOpenTime=0.50 BombBayCloseTime=1.00 PylonMass=55 PylonDragArea=0.02 FC
  17. Don't apologize, you didn't do anything wrong. I wasn't mad when I told you about the T-38C, I was just explaining why I knew it wasn't a T-38C. FC
  18. Well, let's not be too hasty to determine cause of the crash. Like any other investigation, it will take time to sort the relevant facts from the suppositions. RIP to the pilot and prayers for the family. FC
  19. Look under your control options. FC
  20. DeploymentMethod=MANUAL Comment out the Setting[x].RetractValue lines. Done. FC
  21. I fly T-38Cs for a living. This is NOT a T-38C. FC
  22. I just noticed the details on this picture. Any idea where this came from? This isn't a T-38A by the looks of it (no, it's not an F-5B either). I'd say it looks like a AT-38B, but it has a few unusual things I've never seen on any T-38. FC
  23. You're fooling yourself if you think politics and morals aren't intertwined. That being said, what you choose to have or not have on your own computer is your business. FC
  24. The ThirdWire B-52D does not have pylons. FC
  25. I was tweaking the PSD files a bit, just trying to clean up the lines...I cheated and overlayed the 3 view diagrams to get a quick and dirty set of lines for the paint, but on closer inspection, there are a lot of minor errors that need to be corrected. KB managed to clean up some of that stuff, but it still needs some tweakin'. And on a personal note, now that the F-5F has nice, proper paint jobs, I find myself really liking the clean overall lines of the aircraft more and more. Just a very classically designed minimalist fighter. Northrop really did a nice job with the T-38/F-5 family. FC
