Zur, I found that boolean just didn't work real well with the gun ports on the A-F Sabres, so I did something similar. I found I got much better results that way. Normally, what I do is for stuff like that is separate them out into different Elements of the same mesh. Gets rid of a lot of shadowing issues while eliminating 'gaps'. FC

Maybe I'm missing something...but isn't the Canadian Air and Space Museum in Ottawa? I went there on a layover just not too long ago.. Regardless, I signed the petition...I hate seeing museums go out of business. Some of the smaller ones have some of the best stuff. FC

Folks, any line you draw between total centralized governmental control and total anarchy can be considered arbitrary...you can ALWAYS find an exception. There has to always be a balance between individual freedom and collective good. And there is a trade-off when you write laws...too general, and it can be abused, too specific, and you may fill volumes trying to account for every possibility. Until you have all the facts, any judgment call you make could be wrong on later self analysis. And even with all the facts, the conclusion you reach may not be the one your neighbor makes...which makes the definition of 'reasonable' even harder to narrow down. FC

The answer is...it depends. I know of some fighters when lightly loaded will do mil power takeoffs. FC

greyman, It is possible to put 'fake engines' in the ini entries to do other things and yet consume no fuel or deliver thrust. For instance, those 6 entries in the F-14...2 of them are for extra AB effects and the 2 prop entries are to spin the turbine disks. FC

Folks, what they said was there was no evidence of life outside of our planet, not that there was no life outside our planet. Small, but very significant difference. Also, assuming there is life elsewhere, if we have no evidence of such, does it make a difference? Once you can conclusively prove life is elsewhere, then things get interesting. FC

The world is full of morons. The difference is, unlike the old days, where being anonymous and widely viewed was difficult, it isn't that way anymore. You can be anonymous, widely viewed, and be an ass with no consequences. It's easy to be a dickhead when you can't get bitch slapped. Mark my words though...the day is coming when that anonymity will disappear. Some countries have already enacted so-called 'true ID' restrictions. Personally, I don't like people, so I don't enable comments on publicly viewed content. FC

JM, Very well said. In addition, I would have also mandated that no one in political office is allowed to be a professional politician. The original intent was that people in office were your neighbors, your local businessmen, etc. I know some folks who don't like the idea of hard term limits, because you don't want to kick out someone who is doing a good job, plus it works against continuity. But does anyone like the idea of someone holding office using half their term campaigning for the next term? Because it sure looks like that sometimes... FC
