  2. Hi All I want to change the UK map to use for single missions now and maybe a campaign later. The missions I want to fly are intercepting Russian raids on air bases in Scotland that come from off map bases in Norway. I think I have enough ocean up there to play with. So for starters I have changed all target areas on the map to friendly. And will attempt to add the off map russian air fields later. I will also need to change the allowed missions for UK use and the nations file. But my question is, how do I limit the bases I can take off from on the map. I don't want to take off from Brize Norton to intercept a raid off Scotland. Can I set the airfields I dont want to use as Neutral? Or do I need to delete the whole target or just the number of sqaudrons that fly from there? Thanks for your help Snapper 21
  3. Hi WhiteBoySamurai The Type 23 guns don't seem to be working. The main gun wont engage, and the side guns are not moving. I looked in the data ini and there looks like there are two guns number 1 and 1 number 2 but no number 3. Cheers Snapper 21

  7. Try this search data in for DummyComponent=TRUE on the [LeftStab] and [RightStab] and change them to this //DummyComponent=TRUE It worked for me. Cheers Snapper21

  10. Force DX9 dosen't work, I get the error message below. But to be honest, I don't think my old PC meets any of the game requirements.
  11. Hi ndicki Yep I did, installed it with all my other SF2 games, and my results so far. SF2NA will not start up, when I bought it I was half hoping/expecting it would start and run like a dog but I don’t get anything. That was the bad news. The good news is that so far in SF2E, on the waterworld map, I get lovely carriers with planes on them, lots new ships and planes to play with. One reason for buying SF2NA is that I want to take off from a carrier on the Vietnam map in a campaign with other ships around. I am keeping my fingers crossed on that one I can run TKs Iceland map but the sea is just white. I will try some antiship missions in SF2 later to check that I am getting missiles from all launchers not just the front one. So far I am quite happy with the results, though a lot more testing is needed. Cheers Snapper21
  12. No 4 gb Ram, No Windows 7, No money to splash out on an upgrade. But good luck to you TK, I hope the new game is a success, I have had and will continue to have fun with your older games.

      people are pulling excellent Ram out of their computers when they upgrade machines.. bet you could find some cheap on ebay.... same with a copy of 64 bit vista ultimate... should be pretty cheap.

  16. Hi Fubar Will give removing TKs probe a go, though wont we be knackered if TK adds in flight refuelling, they look in slightly different position. I hope yoi get permission to upload the changes, they do look good. Am I right in thinking you have CCIP in the cockpit? I have been trying to add that myself, but without a weapon selected I lose the gunsight totally?? Cheers Snapper 21

So lookng again at the various Data ini Seawolf: SeekerGimbleLimit=46.000000 SeaDart: SeekerGimbleLimit=125.000000 RIM-2E: SeekerGimbleLimit=46.000000 RIM-7; SeekerGimbleLimit=90.000000 SA(N)-9: SeekerGimbleLimit=360.000000 TKs SA-2B: SeekerGimbleLimit=135.000000 TKs SA-8: SeekerGimbleLimit=135.000000 In my simple way of looking at things, I am quite surprised by the NATO weapons. If the SA-2B is a standard, then I would have thought that all the others should have been the same or greater. Is that right, or am I looking at it to simply? I think I need to experiment.   24. Hi Everybody I have a question about Blue side SAMs. Why are the Seeker FOV so small? Looking at the Red weapons that come with the game, they seem to have a seaker FOV starting at 60 (SA-2 etc). While if you look at SeaDart, Seawolf and RIM-2E they seem to have FOV around 5. Which in the original SF2 data is what seems to be a normal set up for air to air missiles. Now I am not saying any of these figure are wrong, I haven't a clue what the real life figure should be, or what the game needs. I just remember reading a post a while ago that NATO SAMs were porked, and started wondering if that a ground launched missile needs a bigger FOV to engage a target. What do you lot think?
