  1. I´ve heard that one before. I said it before and I will say it again - I believe it when I play it.
  2. So I come looking for something different and you provide. Nice one!

    Did you ever complete this?
  4. That was just a nickname. The J 21 series - like Saab B 17, B 18 and J 22 - lacked "official" names. The first official name came with J 29 Tunnan.
  5. I do not want to think what that thing could have done to the Soviet Armies closing on Berlin if supplied and kept covered...
  6. That one has always smelled. The Flygvapnet has sent its pilots straight into Jets since the late 60s. No reason to start with props now.
  7. While this is just a very active rumour, it seems like the No was more to punish the Government for policies about immigration and free movement that are very disliked in the french speaking parts then about the aircraft itself. The way I see it, we still win. We still got a lot of Swiss Chocolate. So if you will excuse me, I have to indulge myself from my private stocks.
  8. Hmm. Are you sure that is present in the TSF Gripens? I swore I fixed that one..
  9. Thats how TSF begun. At any rate, if I remember the book correctly, the initial wave was low flying, fast attack jets such as A-5 Fantan and the like.
  10. Oh, gather 'round me, comrades; and listen while I speak Of a war, a war, a war where hell is six feet deep. Along the shore, the cannons roar. Oh how can a soldier sleep? The going's slow on Anzio. And hell is six feet deep. Praise be to God for this captured sod that rich with blood does seep. With yours and mine, like butchered swine's; and hell is six feet deep. That death awaits there's no debate; no triumph will we reap. The crosses grow on Anzio, where hell is six feet deep. . . . Audie Murphy, 1948
  11. Wil: I hope you have checked out this mod: http://combatace.com/files/file/14567-the-scandinavian-front-2/
  12. There is a Tu-160 in the works. However, as I recall - it needs a skin.
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8TjXx23iio This is how far we got last time. It may look almost finished but the plane was very early alpha. Hope this one fares better :D
  14. My issue is that I do not want my mods to rely on people getting access to their site. I like to make "all-inclusive packages", mostly because my target audience are people who never heard or played SF2. The ironic thing is AFAIK the Viggen was heavily updated by people on CA and the only thing still A-Team on it is the conversion to the SF LOD Format. Not even the 3D model they used is theirs and I even have the authors permission to use it. Grinds my gears? Of course it does. For me, the Viggen would give three - maybe four - new campaigns for the TSF. It is that important to the history of the Swedish Air Force.
  15. A sad tale it is. I have long wanted the Saab Viggen for The Scandinavian Front but I have never recived permission to use it. I admit having almost given up hope, but the community has their ways and this is one of them. Not having a Viggen is a big gaping hole in TSF as it is an essential Swedish aircraft.
  16. Mate, if this is very early then I cannot wait for the finished product. It is simply put amazing. As for a pit, Stary made a very fitting stand-in unless you plan to make a real one. http://combatace.com/files/file/12035-late-ww2-cockpit-3-a-36-stand-in/ As for weapons, Allow me to dig into The Scandinavian Front mod folder. If it exists, we got it.
  17. Do you have issues with the mod aircraft only or ALL of them (including stock ones)
  18. You rang? The J-21A (prop version) was an interceptor aircraft and carried only cannon. A-21 and A-21R could carry rockets and smaller bombs. J 21 and J 21R could however carry a ridicilous gunpod with 8 machineguns. I have images if you need em. Internal Weapons: 1x20 mm Automatkanon m/41, (20mm Cannon) 4x13 mm automatkanon m/39 (13mm Cannon) I for one hope you will do the J 21R as well. I am very interested in one for TSF. If you need anything else, you just let me know. I would be happy to beta test... ;-)
  19. Naval Maps do not support Night Missions for some reason. Just a heads up.
  20. ...and you will never get the time nor the money back for it either :P
  21. I am 25% Austrian. My mothers granddad fought on the Eastern Front and was awarded with an Iron Cross. When he died, we each got a letter from him explaining why we got a certain item. I got the Iron Cross and in the letter was the story of why he got it. I have never told anybody why. And I never will. Suffice to say, I find it a little disturbing to have in my house but its a reminder that sometimes, we do things we are not proud of and that we have to live with the consequences.
  22. To the Americans To the Israelis To the Polish To the Swedes To the Russians To the Finns To the Germans Enjoy.
