Or you could use Piecemeals very excellent Desert v1.3 which is heavily populated and contains most of the items you want. As Soulfreak says if you want to put your own spin your own version of desert you can copy and paste some of target enteries such as piecemeals border posts etc and checkout the types enteries to see if you have every thing you need or would like to change to some other ground object. There are a lot of bits and pieces in other terrains you can borrow along with the type enteries.There are some odds and ends in the SF1 downloads that you can probably use too.

Spectacular work gterl also Stephen a wrench would be the chap to talk to about the ship thing. I had a dick around with the old Gib terrain and had a landing force on the North African coast and two opposing lines of artillery with a battleship Parked off the coast and it was banging away supporting the good guys artillery and landing force every time I happened to pass by it really made the place come alive. Used to hop out and watch it for a while it was like watching a war movie.The ships were not mobile as such just had them in ports or stationed somewhere but they sure cut lose at you when you passed by.

Heck I have a WW2 PTO Mod folder with one modern ac of both sides and it works fine.

Yes the two F-14's are there in the single missions screen and I ran each of titles as I installed them to create the mod folders including sf2na but could not understand why the sf2na mod folder only contained a screenshots folder and had no controls object folder or options ini file when all the other titled did after letting them run though a single mission for the first time and have not added any mods at this stage.

I have downloaded and installed all the latest versions of sf2 titles in a merged install including sf2na but the sf2na mod folder only contains a screenshots folder and nothing else not even a options ini is this normal for sf2na? appreciate any advice on this,thanks

Noticed that lately hope Stephen and Quack and co are all ok!

I got downloaded game booster after I think it was montycz who recommended it always found it seemed to work ok for me and the razer game booster is essentially the same but its claimed to be more enhanced and with added features ie:screencast etc and after all it is a joint project between razer and iobit , I also notice it requires online registration. As far as optimizing your computer goes always found Tweakguides Tweaking companion to be real handy for me as I really don't know my A from my E anyway and for anybody with win8 tweakguides has a tweaking companion coming out early Dec for windows8 .

Just wondering if anyone here has tried out The Razor game booster? I been use the Iobit game booster and seems to work fine and the Razer gb is apparently joint effect by them. It also has game screen shot and video mode if anyone is interested

Flaps and wheelbrakes do work in fact work the same as SF2 by adding to the aircraft data inis might be a good idea to ask fubar about the retractible gear as I recall he a had a screenshot of some ww2 stuff he was flying in FE2 a while back.
