  1. If all you've done is make .ini changes, you can UL those files here by themselves, giving credit to those who made the model the .ini files go to, of course. If you are going to UL an entire plane, then you should get their permission. It sounds to me like you didn't make any changes to the 3d model, so you shouldn't have to worry about it. Just UL the .ini files you've changed in zip/rar format.
  2. As long as it isn't "iPod only"! Those of us who did NOT fall for the Apple marketing crap are quite irritated that everyone else has!!
  3. I'm afraid you'll have to wait 2 weeks before you can even begin to wait 2 weeks.
  4. Ah, well as somone who doesn't give a crap about any MP that's not coop (and so few games have it anymore), I've never tried nor do I intend to try playing MP Crysis. All I want is a good SP game with the ability to also play it through coop.
  5. Right, as we were saying, there aren't ANY cards under $100 that can run WiC well unless you find it used by someone who just wants to dump it. WiC is cutting-edge 2007 game tech. No card under $100 is.
  6. That site is a bit confusing. Will this be a full-featured offline sim or is it online-only? I've no interest in the latter.
  7. Wow, the carrier that never was has its own "world"!
  8. The structural problems were shown to be a manufacturing defect in the longerons. The issue is how many were built that way, and I don't have the answer other than the E model did NOT have this same longeron so therefore was cleared quickly. I don't know if any A's had it or how many C's did.
  9. "Now I have to stand in the fish tank and sing... And did those feet...in ancient times..."
  10. I like the big hole with the wires sticking out under the left MFD!
  11. LOL, I know it doesn't mean the same in English as it does in Russian, but just the idea of ANY fighter with a "BM" at the end of it...smells...
  12. Yet another plane designed by someone who was thinking "cool" and not "would this thing actually work?" Guess they don't need any fuel or armament, and let's not even talk about those improbable wings. Someone ever think of trying that in a wind tunnel? Not hardly...
  13. Really? I think Crysis is one of the best SF shooters I've ever played. The stuff inside the ship is awesome with the whole zero g/3D flight thing. I just got out of the ship and the whole frozen landscape is very impressive. Granted the thing is a beast of a performance hog, but Far Cry was fairly stressful on PCs when it came out too. By the end of this year I think we'll have machines capable of blasting Crysis along at a good clip.
  14. Let's not forget that I can't believe the "make the planes think ground is at a different altitude" trick would ever work!
  15. A 1300 would WORK but it wouldn't be that good. Maybe you can find a 1600/1650 used somewhere? I know someone who had one and said he could "get by" in many games. He later upgraded to a 1950 himself.
  16. USAF was the sequel! IAF was the first one by that developer, USAF the 2nd. USAF was the final game in a long line of Jane's titles by Origin/EA that started with USNF in the early 90s.
  17. This sounds like it was an F-15A ("The Hawaii National Guard's F-15 jets, built between 1974 and 1978, were acquired in 1987 ") and I'm not sure if the problem with the longerons was only in F-15Cs or goes back to the A's. Anyway, this wasn't a structural failure, it was a systems failure.
  18. Awesome shots, and you can see some great shots of the 25UTG there too. Looks like 2 different sets of pics, one with a pair of planes on the bow and one with only one, and the Frogfoot in 2 different spots. I have one word for the ship's captain though...paint!!
  19. I think that was merely because Ark Royal was a more famous name than Eagle. A 23 yr service career for a carrier is awfully short, though.
  20. These translations kill me!
  21. I had a model I got one year for Xmas at my grandparent's house and I was impatient to start building it. My model glue was as home, so I decided to use what they had instead--Crazy Glue! My first and last attempt to use it for modeling. :close_tema:
  22. Well, it's not a "movie", it's a documentary. There's a difference.

I believe that is what we call an oxymoron!

Some of them aren't actually "junked". The B-1s, for example, are in a condition where they can be restored to flight status in a short time if necessary, such as the loss of one of the active birds. However, any plane that's been there over 15 years can pretty much be considered scrap, although there are rare exceptions.
  25. I only read them when I'm REALLY bored...like at work. However, they are 99% tripe.
