As an NMM museum guide, twice a week I always tell the story of the former "Wolfhounds", the 32 FG. The ONLY US squadron under foreign command and the only "Royal" American squadron, having been appointed by the Queen, stationed at the same Soesterberg AB where the museum is situated. We have an F86E and a Delta Dagger outside on the apron and an F15A inside, suspended from the roof...... Now the Eagles are returning !!!!! A deployment will take place at Leeuwarden AB for some time, including participation in the "Frisian Flag" excercises ( http://www.prk-aviation.nl/frisianflag2015.htm). Running on LPG for E 0,58 per liter, using 9.5 liters / 100km. The wifes VOLVO taking almost 14 liters / 100km, but also on LPG...
