Do I sense a sales add or what? I too was a long time Nvida fan, but I jumped the fence and found bright green pastures of WOW! I've got the Radeon 9700 Pro AIW. I made the decision to buy it after reading countless review about Nvidia's Vacum Emulator Fan. Radeon all the way. Some day Nvidia may bounce back....but....until then..They've won me over. Well guys....They've put out another video, and it's short but shows some GREAT action. I'm still juiced about Soldner, but this Call of Duty demo and the IN-YOUR-FACE action has really got me stoked about COD! Here's some thumbs from the movie: This game is truely gearing up to be on my MUST HAVE list. Maybe I should just take a vote now on creating a new forum specific for this FP Shooter?? Well...I've changed a few settings here, and tweaked a few things there. It's running much better, and I even got the TV Tuner to work. Time for me to run a 3dmark score with it and see how my system is doin. It's getting better! Fates

Do these drivers just suck or is it just me? I recently had to do a complete reformat of my machine. I went from the stock drivers to the new 3.8 drivers. I run a 9700 Pro AIW, and I'm just having 1 problem after another. First off....my TV feature no longer works. I feel like several of my game have lag during SINGLE PLAYER!!! And I'm getting a ghosting when I open a window....in other words...it takes a second for the window to appear...and it slowly fades into view. There may be a feature turned on that's doin this...and it looks like I'm gonna have to F...I mean mess with it to get it all right. ARGH!@!!! PCPilot... IMHO the Hungarian bow is by far superior then anything ever produced until Fred Bear was born. I am strictly a "Primitive" archer, although I shoot compounds as well, I just dont hunt with them. I made the Gemsbok by hand, and I also have made other bows, all self-bows. As much as I enjoy the compounds technological advances, the Hungarian Magyar dates back to an ancient time. If you ever get the chance to fire one....you will never pick up a compound again. The Hungarian is a very smooth bow, and has the feel of a compound. The accelleration of the arrow is similar to what a compound produces. You'll be able to pull it back and hold it with out shaking for quite some time. Next summer I'll post some pics and vids of myself and friends performing aerial shots with self-bows. This will include hitting targets from paperplate size to dimes tossed in the air. Cheers! Fates

How can you make that assumption? Who said it works great for the testers? If it "WORKED GREAT" for the testers, then why don't we have a patch? It's been indicated that there have been several Major bugs that have been defeated, but testing continues for a reason. <C> Fates

I'll have to post a few pics when I get my Deer.....but that won't be till next season. I broke out my bow to get warmed up...then broke it. I finished repairs on it today, but I'm affraid it may be to weak to shoot. I'll be purchasing a new bow for next year. It's a Hungarian Magyar Horsemans bow. I only hunt traditional. No guns, no rifles. Although I have done some muzzle loading. Currently have a Gemsbok Horn Bow, which I had to repair. I see the whole thing like a used rusty muscle car some high-schooler bought. remember them days? Anyway...you want to polish this and paint that. You spend your weekends working hard on your new ride to spiffy it up to attract the girlz, and your doin the best ya can on the money you make baggin groceries at the local market. Eventually you gradute, buy a real car, and shove the other in the garage...but you always find time to work on it some more. You had a dream. Eventually you've saved up enough time and money to install the crown jewel that will make you car complete. That the new Chevy 350 engine with the 4 bolt main, headers, Crane cam, Edelbrock intake and the 750 Holly double pumper. Now your machine is done. Now lets imagine numerous modders and their time and effort to make your car perfect faster. Some day we may see Carrier Landings...and with the combined effort of the community...maybe it will happen sooner the later. Fates

As you've found out Cowboytodd....the News submission editor is much more USER friendly. It's not much different then posting on the forum...matter of fact...it's the same. This feature was something the MJ was looking for. The older New Submission feature was very cumbersome. So everyone!!!!!!!!
