Well.....we are about to see Champ and IRL finally get back together after a long time. Being from Indianapolis, and a HUGE fan of open wheel racing, all I can say is...."It's about damn time." Although I understand WHY Tony George did what he did by creating the IRL, I just think it was the wrong way to go about it. So wrong in fact that Open Wheel racing here in the US has had terrible sponsorship, tv time, fan loss, etc...etc...etc... Let's bring the sport back to the good ole days when CART was watched more on TV then Nascar. I'm tired of Nascar's commercialization anyway...and I'm ready to get back to something new, competitive, exciting. Cheers~

The problem, as I see it from this thread, everyone has a different opinion of what "THAT SIM" is, thus it would be difficult to produce. ie...My big hangup with any sim today is multiplayer. If it don't have an enjoyable multiplayer then I'm simply not interested. If we established what it WILL HAVE vs WILL NOT HAVE and everyone was aware of it before forking over $50 you may win some votes but I think overall people are going to look at that WILL NOT HAVE column and not spend the money... But I do love the idea of gamers directly involved with developers to bring them what they want. Cheers
