    Lets put it this way. The Mirage Factory never signed the freeware accords. If you want to use a Mirage Factory plane for a mod, you have to get permission from Sony Tuckson. Its been stated before. Sony will say yes, just some common courtesy is all he is asking. If you have a problem with this please let me know. "Pongamoslo de esta manera. I didn't know about it until the other day. I was commuting home from JFK on Delta Airlines on Friday and was on a layover between flights in Atlanta . I was looking out the window of the terminal at the dreary day and the ramp area when I noticed this honor guard practicing for the arrival of a flight. This service is a brainchild of Delta employees who put it together and volunteer to do it on their own time. They meet incoming flights that are carrying servicemen home for burial and provide honor guard services during the unloading of the body. This is not a loose operation. These people are all very serious about what they do. As I watched them practice, their leader drilled them and corrected any minor deviation in position or the angle that they held the colors. Special safety vests were worn by the honor guard, as well as the other half-dozen or so ramp personnel who served the planes arrival. They had some sort of design on the back, similar to a defense department logo, but I couldn't see it well enough to be sure. After about half an hour, the plane blocked in at the gate. The military escort and family members were deplaned onto the ramp and met by a Delta ground service manager. There was a younger lady (about 30 or so) and an older lady. I assumed them to be the wife and mother, but don't know. The escort, in dress uniform, carried the folded American flag. The baggage cart with the American flag design was custom-manufactured by the Delta machine shop in Atlanta , again on the employees own time. The last picture and its closeup show the casket being unloaded to the waiting cart and the honor ceremony. Naturally, I couldn't hear what was being said, if anything. Notice the captain and first officer standing at attention to the right of the picture. Once the casket was loaded, the family members were taken to the terminal in a ramp vehicle. The military escort rode in the cab of the tug pulling the casket cart. I found the whole thing very moving. Well done to the Delta employees Bob

In the event, any involvement would have been further limited by the ‘near-operational’ nature of the Romb-1 deployment (which also involved the first and third prototype Su-25s). The aircraft involved were not intended to be subject to combat, but rather tested under conditions that simulated the battlefield to a high degree. Despite their official non-operational nature, aircraft involved in the Romb trials could be requested to undertake combat sorties by local divisional commanders, on an ad hoc basis. The Yak-38s and prototype Su-25s operated out of a specially prepared air base near Shindand. Even with a much-reduced fuel and weapons load, the Yak-38 proved incapable of operating during the hot daylight hours (after around 0500 hrs); on the basis of this poor showing, the VVS quickly lost any remaining interest it had in the type.

  22. No offense taken. I was just covering my ass because some numb nut will think I am being some greedy tyrant or accuse me of something of the likes. Then they will get all upset and cry over on another forum about how I am being unfair or whatever. I have to do that because everything I say or do gets put under the microscope because I am just an ass to everyone. (So its been said by some former members of CA) So it was a disclaimer of CYA. Good work on the mod.

  24. Maybe the person who made it will see this and will let you add the LOD's. In my defense I was only following the guidance I was given when it was added to the NF4+ mod. This was not an attempt to be greedy and the likes. The same thing goes for the F-117A in the DS mod.
  25. I think it has a great sense of scale, especially at 30,000ft and the contrails start. I think it might be your imagination.
