Have to agree with MB here. How much battle damage plane can take does not make a mark of greatness. That is all luck. Look at the the battle damge a B-24 and a B-17 could take. M and or R are just the natural progession of the letters in an aircraft series. (i.e. F-15I,J,K) I am leaning more towards the R because L or M for example remind me of some F-8's being rebuilt from an B and A's. I see the R bening a whole new and advanced evolution of the F-15.

Then must be a problem with the textureset.ini. Copy one from the SFP1 package and open it, then rename it accordingly to what you want the one from the SF2 package to say. See if that works.

Maybe we have some confusion there. All the skins are interchangable. Are the bmp names different from say the H skin to the G skin? I am not in front of my home computer so I can not recall.

Yes they do work. Have you checked all the ini's to make sure they didnt get converted to unicode? If they have then you need to just take the ini's from one of the SF1 Buff and rename accordingly.

If you start reading the SF2 Knowledge Base it will all become clear to you how it is all set up.

Have you checked the aircraft's data.ini to see what year they are available?

Just look in the SF2 downloads section and check the aircraft that are already done. There is your list right there my friend.

The F-14 was mauled very badly by the F-15. To the point the Navy actually quit the fly offs.
