    Tried the demo. Very disappointing. If you like Ace Combat 6, that's pretty much what you're getting with HAWX (with a few extra planes). I'm NOT getting HAWX - don't care how many Tomcats are in it. It's the same cheesy physics and 1000-missile loadouts.

    Could be. Last time I played AoE was ages ago, hence the "I think." I'm sure it was in some old game, though - that's how I recognized it. AoE seems the most likely candidate. "Over the Threshold"

    Would anyone else be interested in getting either of these birds in the game? I know you can't use them to shoot anything, but it'd still be neat to fly them.

    Indeed. Navy still says CAG (Commander Air Group), when the term Carrier Air Group has been gone a while (now called Carrier Air Wings - CVWs). And the FRS (Fleet Replacement Squadron - where you learn on your fleet aircraft) is still most commonly referred to as "the RAG" (again the old-school terminology, Replacement Air Group).
