View File SF2 Tanks Pack ------------------------------------------ SF2 Tanks Pack -------------------------------------------- This package collects updated versions of most Tanks, APCs, IFVs, and Scout Vehicles that have been released for the Strike Fighters series at ComabtAce.com. Updates performed include the following: - added new skins (Green or Tan) to objects that lacked one or the other - implemented numerous tweaks to guns and weapons to standardize data and improve performance - tweaked gun data to standardize data, implement new effects, & improve performance - tweaked other vehicle performance aspects to standardize data & fix minor issues Please review the following section for notes on what's included in this package and how to install the various components. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Package Contents ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In the root of whatever folder you unpack this mod to, you will find the following standalone files, which include data to be added to various config files: - BULLETOBJECT_ADDITIONS.TXT: additions to BulletObject.INI, which should be unpacked from the ObjectData001.CAT in your SF2 installation directory and placed in \Objects in your Mods Folder. - SOUNDLIST_ADDITIONS.TXT: additions to SoundList.INI, which should be unpacked from the FlightData.CAT in your SF2 installation directory and placed in \Flight in your Mods Folder. CaptainScwarz: Update #5 is the update that includes all the weapons fixes that were previously released as a separate Hot Fix. As for the LGBs, there are laser-guided versions of all the LGBs in the mod. You simply have to select them in the Loadout screen. (The Dumb versions are there for AI use.) Eric Howes -

Guys: Verti Technology Group is a company known to use free/open source software as bait to push other unrequested junkware on unsuspecting users, including adware/spyware. From their Terms of Use: There are a number of similar companies out there whose business model involves "monetizing downloads," and this is just another of them. Guys: NF4+ has had TMF Mirages that use the ThirdWire Mirage III flight model for several years now. Same holds true for the Argentine Mirage deltas in the Falklands '82 mod for SF2. The process of transplanting the ThirdWire fm to the TMF aircraft was not completely straightforward, given the slightly different modeling of control surfaces, but the result works just fine. DarthRaven: Attached is an update for the two carriers in OpDarius. Also included are updates for the two stock carriers from SF2NA. Just drop these folders in \Objects\GroundObject in your Mods folder. Note that these updates are for those with SF2NA as part of their base installs. kampfwolf: Based on what you just said, I strongly suspect that your problem lies with the game not finding the proper Mods folder with the carrier folders. If after reinstall it's still not working, then you need to root around and figure out why the game is not finding the proper Mods folder. As I can't see how your system is laid out, there's not much more that I can do aside from noting that the KB contains at least one article on creating mod folders for custom mods like the Expansion Pack that you install.
