  1. Is that the Nellis terrain? Wow that looks good! And the UAE skin looks great too. I'm sure someone will recreate the desert skin French M2000Ds and a single 2000C have worn.
  2. Ok, here's the relevant parts of the Data.ini from the IraqSquad found in the DS mod. I'm fairly positive they'll engage your flight thanks to being set to AIR_AND_GROUND. [DetectSystem] TargetType=AIR_AND_GROUND DataLink=FALSE OpticalSight=TRUE NightSight=FALSE VisualRange=1500.0 ViewportPosition=0.0,0.0,1.35 MaxVisibleDistance=2000.0 RadarCrossSection=10 [WeaponSystem] TargetType=AIR_AND_GROUND GunRange=600.0 PitchAngleRate=10 MaxPitch=15.0 MinPitch=-1.0 DefaultPitchAngle=0.0 YawAngleRate=50 YawLimited=TRUE MaxYaw=1.0 MinYaw=-1.0 DefaultYawAngle=0 ReloadGunAtAngle=True GunRecoil=0 GunStabilization=FALSE GunRadarTracking=FALSE RangeFinder=0 BallisticComputer=0 YawModelNodeName=Bodylaw PitchModelNodeName=Bazooka
  3. I think some of the infantry units already are written up to shoot at you with small arms and MANPADs.
  4. You've put a lot more time into DCS than I have too. Hell I know I would with your set up. All I've really flown is the Frogfoot and Mi-8. I'm still at the "cruise around Crimea for fun and occasionally shoot something if I figure out how to use a weapon and most likely crash land" stage.
  5. I just don't want to run into the possibility of having a jet I payed for in my stable that I don't fly very often. But it's probably the closest to a Alpha model Viper or Bug we'll get, so most likely I'll end up buying the Mirage. It's a good kite.
  6. Damn it, Dave I'm trying to convince myself I don't want this jet!
  7. Cool! More ranges are always nice.
  8. Makes sense to me. Everyone is bombing everyone.
  9. Only Fullback around is the insky pirated model.
  10. Empty flight decks at sea look so spooky. Good to see the F-35C is getting more time at sea though.
  11. Interesting how the Su-24s and Su-30s have had markings and tail numbers crudely painted over.
  12. Not gonna lie, those Su-34s are sexy in an A-10 sort of way. Curious if there's any Fencer-Es or Fencer-Fs among the Su-24s. Kinda doubt they're all just Fencer-Ds.
  13. Congrats on the Chinook contract. They'll be kick ass in the mountains. I imagine the contract is for Fox models? Any specifics specification wise for them?
  14. Awesome! As a rotary wing aviator myself I'm really glad you've given helicopters all this attention.
  15. Looks good! Always up for another range.

    11 Sept 2001

I watched it on TV as a third grader. It took eleven years, but this day is still the reason I enlisted. I thought my deployment to Afghanistan, which is where I was on September 11, 2013, would have been closure. But I too am still angry.
  17. Trying to bring one of my favorite SF1 mods back to life

No Stary, it was very balanced thanks to the tripod.

Now lemme know when you gotta carrt that beast back to the TOC at midnite. Still is fun to shoot though

  23. I'll say so! Not at all biased towards redheads or tandem rotor heavy lift...nope. ...British Chinook crews get to have all the fun.
