These are the names of two campaigns I've been working on little by little since January. No progress had really been made until lately, now that I can download all the outstanding mods that have been released since August- some of which are essential to these! Anyway let's get down the details. Operation Sand Shrike: Operation Desert Storm inspired 1978 campaign for people who have low end computers/ can't run mods stabily/ like stock installs. Uses stock and DLC aircraft only on the original desert terrain. Something I've wanted to make for a while. Plan Scimitar Red: 1986, Dhimar goes it alone! As NATO forces deal with the invasion of Central Europe by Soviet Forces, Paran invades Dhimar, believing victory is theirs! Dhimar launches Emergency Action Plan Scimitar Red and prepares for total war. Honestly there's too much content now to not do this. I should be able to finish Sand Shrike within well, two weeks

The MiG-17s mentioned, are they Egyptian or Moroccan? Because I could believe Morocco deploying those. They could have been painted in EAF markings which would explain why we've never heard reports from the Israelis of RMAF MiGs. The F-5s I have trouble believing. Wouldn't an Egyptian or Israeli source have reported this by now? An F-5 would have really stood out. That incident is also way too descriptive.

Yeah this is begging for a campaign.

Need a new flight stick for SF2 primarily but also for FSX and DCS. Tired of flying SF2 with an Xbox controller for the past year. Needs to be decent quality and ergonomic. Also must be reasonably priced!

That sounds about right. But at the same time I can't recall having a night mission in GermanyCE for a long time.

And I'd been playing Wings Over Europe a year before that too. Wow time sure does fly. If anything that just convinces me I need to get my act together and actually take the time to make a decent working mod.

So 617 Squadron will be the RAF's first F-35 squadron? I take it that means there current tour in Afghanistan will be their last foreseen use of the Tonka in combat then?

Thanks Dave. I've been here longer than that though. Eighth grade is more like it! It's nice to finally settle down, have a beer and relax. And be able to download the latest and greatest mods in a matter of minutes rather than days! A photo dump will be coming soon once I've filtered through my pictures and resized them all.

The Kfir and F-4N are my favorites. The F-4K and Belgian Mirage 5 are close seconds. Now that I'm on a stable internet connection I'll be able to get the AI packs and the Sultan's Hunters.

I've managed to win Northern Sabre in both the F-14 and F-4E. It's doable in the F-4, but real hard.
