  1. Are the addons really must-haves, or are there still people playing vanilla 4.10.1m online? I've read that addons can be a burden on performance...
  2. Would you rather have it called Enterprise? I find it funny though that they're wanting to improve their refueling capability when they cut back their vaunted short-legged fighters - the Harriers. Or does the RAF plan to open an aerial gas station? How many pounds per gallon?
  3. Happy Easter, even later... well, better late than never!
  4. Happy Birthday Derk!!! Have a great one!!!
  5. Happy Birthday! Hope you got around to party hard!
  6. I thought the most recent patch version was 4.10.1m?
  7. Pardon my ignorance, but what is that pack good for / what does it do? Is vanilla Il-2 1946 not good enough patched to it's latest release? On another note, is the GOG version of 1946 fully patched, or would I need more?
  8. Well, I've finally decided I wanted to go back to that era of growling engines so after looking what was available I'm thinking that the IL-2 1946 compilation is the way to go, but I'm wondering about how it works... I know it includes all games in the series, but I'm wondering, can there be a mix-up with all planes available, or is each game handled separately from the other? I'm also particularly interested in the online multiplayer aspect of the game, I hope that there are still many players out there? I also haven't found a comprehensive wiki page for it where all things present in the game are listed (everything from planes to tanks, ships, etc), is the mission builder as advanced as the Jane's series mission builders were, where one could position everything everywhere? Another question for which I haven't found an answer is if one can have a customized nose-art or something that will also be visible for other players without them having to download an aircraft skin? I do apologize if I haven't been able to find obvious answer to these questions, I've been digging but not yet finding... Many thanks in advance for your clarifying answers!
  9. Parabens!!! Como se diz ca por terras lusas, tudo do bom (saude) e do melhor (sorte)!!!
  10. LOL Macelena, and I thought that was a video of the Royal Marines invading La Linea... http://news.bbc.co.u...ope/1827554.stm
  11. After this incident that Airbus is going to be re-christened "Obelix"!!!
  12. Talk about a 737 convertible... Guess there just weren't enough window-seats around...
  13. I could swear I'd seen a video of a Vark dropping a big bomb on a ship suspected of carrying drugs or something...
  14. Good thing nobody got hurt (besides the pilot)... And I sure hope they'll be able to salvage and reconstruct the 'Hog... That fugly plane deserves to fly forever!!!
  15. Happy Birthday!!! Have another good one!!!
  16. http://www.thepoke.co.uk/2011/02/28/gaddaffy-duck/ Had me quacking with laughter!!!
  17. False - I'm steering clear of North Africa in terms of holiday destinations, although it's a dream of mine and my GF to visit Egypt. Well, good thing we have to wait till it settles down, the personal economy isn't looking good enough to travel... The person below me is also considering (or did consider, if it's already past) celebrating his or her 30th birthday with a party inspired by the letters of said age's roman numerals...

    HOLY s**t!

    Happy Birthday!!!
  19. Maybe, just maybe, it would help his own intentions as well... http://detroit.cbslo...ive-in-detroit/ I don't understand why he doesn't want a statue of Robocop yet somehow wants cops to live in Detroit... Or is he afraid Skynet will take over?
  20. Still less expensive than having to design a new one, building a mock-up, having it go through the windtunnel and other tests, test-flying it etc, and ironing out the kinks, I guess...
  21. Happy Birthday!!!
  22. All that's missing is a fan for that feeling of wind in your face when flying a WWI-Biplane or something...
  23. I meant it more like from the point of view that you don't have to reinvent the wheel, you can just build more according to the latest specs and improvements... But the trip to the drawing board would definitely be spared!
  24. It's nice to see how they realize that you just don't need a new design to replace a perfectly good airplane... I wonder when the USAF is gonna realize that the A-10's replacement... is another A-10!!!
