  1. If it's $300-350, then I'll most likely get it. But then I'll have to decide if I want to sell my Cougar, if I haven't modded it by then. I don't understand why everyone is making a big deal about dual throttles?
  2. I'm waiting to see how much it's going to cost. I'm not a big fan of the dual throttle (I like the F-16 throttle) but we'll see soon enough.
  3. I heard it was practicing for an airshow.
  4. Glad you got your problem figured out, I'll still trade you though. The 2 more gigs of RAM will help smooth out your game play. One thing I changed was my water, I hated the shiney water on low, I like the med water we had back in FC1.12, so I changed mine to that. That'll give you more FPS and I think it looks much better.
  5. Trade ya? I have a quad core 2.4, 8800GT and 4 gigs of RAM. I get 25+ FPS on the ground and above 30 in the air. I like flying the Su-33 cause of that reason also, plus you can land on a carrier.
  6. I have never seen the BA and would love to see them one day. I have seen the T-Birds 4 times and love it.
  7. Yea, but how long is that gonna take? and who gets the first ones?
  8. You landed on fumes then and had a thermo disconnect. You need to watch your fuel no matter what aircraft you are flying. I know in lock on people complain about the Mig-29, not having much fuel. But you can fly around in that thing for a long time as long as you stay out of AB.
  9. There are a lot of things that lock on doesn't have. Maybe in the next 10 years we'll have a bunch of clickable jets to play around with.
  10. Yea, that's true. I don't fly Falcon, only lock on and I don't use ECM too much. Do you get a warning when a missile is fired on you?
  11. One thing you could do also, is load the centerline 300 gallon tank. You should be fine with that, just keep an eye on you fuel gauge. I don't think the map is that big so I think you'll be ok. That way you can load other things on those stations.
  12. I guess they have no barrier at that runway? Mashing down on the brakes will catch fire for sure, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Did he just take off when this happened or hit a tanker? That doesn't make sense doing a high speed pass prior to landing with a full fuel load.
  13. Any updates, I'm at work and can't go to your site.
  14. USAF was a good game, the first to really open my eyes to flight sims.
  15. I'll take a level 1, that would fit nice in my room.
  16. Some people skip that one
  17. Go to 3sqn forums or lockon.ru forums to see download info and read me file.
  18. Use FC1 and practice to learn, training offline will only take you so far. Online flying is where it's at, the AI is predictable and human pilots aren't. It just takes a lot of practicing to get good.
  19. Reading "Strike Eagles, F-15E's in the desert" so far it's a good book. They mention my first base commander in it. Interesting to hear the pilots stories from flying to the politics that happen.
  20. Sorry, had to leave for a minute. Back to what I was saying, the external tanks suppose to feed into the forward and aft systems at the same time. Sometimes one tank feeds slower then the other, but that didn't happen in your case and that's not modeled in the game. Having only one wing tank adds 2400lbs to that system and will cause the imbalance.
  21. You'll never see a F-16 loaded with only one wing tank, they have to have 2.
  22. I bet this is the case, he is probaly getting a trapped fuel indication. Engine feed switch needs to be in norm unless you are correcting a fuel imbalance. What do the needles on your fuel gauge read, is there any red showing? Your needles will have a spread, which is normal for center of balance.
  23. I have had 120C's miss a lot, even from close range. I have no idea what the guy did but it worked. I have also dodged a few 120 from pretty close range. Are you doing single player or multi? I only do multiplayer.
  24. That is impressive, consider I can't even run a 11 minute mile and a half.
