  1. In order to do so, and achieve even a modicum of realism, is a time-consuming process. For example, the F-86 FMs took over a hundred hours. Wrench's suggestion is an easy, quick fix. Even then, you will still spend considerable time debugging it. Good luck.
  2. A Star Trek TV reboot is coming, and fans could not be happier. Rumors are running, claiming that two companies have pitched Star Trek series ideas to television networks for the fall of 2015 or early 2016. While nothing has been confirmed or denied, it appears that CBS might be the network airing the Star Trek reboot. A Star Trek TV reboot is set for this fall or late winter, and it might be on CBS, according to sources. The original Star Trek series also called The Original Series debuted in 1966 and ran for three seasons on NBC before being cancelled in 1969. It starred William Shatner in the role of Captain Kirk, Leonard Nimoy as Mr. Spock and DeForest Kelley as Leonard McCoy. It appears that X-Men producer, Bryan Singer has teamed up with Rob Burnett, the executive producer of Late Show with David Letterman and the president and CEO of Worldwide Pants, along with writersChristopher McQuarrie and Geoffrey Thorne for a Star Trek TV reboot currently entitled Star Trek: Federation. The new Star Trek: Federation is set in a new era beyond the Deep Space Nine and Voyager crews. The TV spin-off has been inspired by the popular fan-made Star Trek: Axanar as guideline for the project. Burnett has been actively tweeting about the project: Source: http://www.thespreadit.com/star-trek-tv-reboot-is-being-considered-52094/
  3. Centurion, There is never a need to apologize for taking time off to give yourself a break, and especially for taking however long one must take to deal with real life issues. And those that whine and complain about a modder taking "too much time" to release whatever they may be working on, can go to straight to hell as far as I'm concerned.
  4. It would be nice if we had at least Echo II SSNs for the Soviets. I approached a few modelers a while back, and they were all busy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Echo-class_submarine
  5. "Mesmerizing pictures capture America's aircraft carriers sailing the world through the years in all their humongous glory" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2996580/Stunning-pictures-capture-America-s-aircraft-carriers-humongous-glory-sail-world.html#ixzz3UXNErKH9
  6. The default record switch is alt + F10.
  7. Why not use Nvidia Shadowplay instead? I find it less resource-intensive than FRAPs, with at least the same (or even better) image quality.
  8. In 3 out of 5 engagements, the opposing aircraft (MarcFighters Su-33) successfully jammed my radar at close range with its add-on Sorbtisya pods, at default power settings. When I ramped them up to "100" it even jammed me at medium range, throwing off my LCOS gun sight. So the answer is yes, the AI does use add-on jamming pods.
  9. PFunk, I will run a test when I get home tonight, to answer this question once and for all. All one needs to do is to setup a 1 v 1 mission against an aircraft that is equipped with jamming pods, set to an "artificially" high power setting. If one cannot maintain radar lock on that target, then AI jamming pods work.
  10. Happy Birthday!
  11. Russ, here you go. I hope this helps. SovietSilver1.rar
  12. Russ, I have some 1024x skins that I can send you when I get home later on tonight, and you should be able to make up some templates from them. They were made by Volksjager over 10 years ago.
  13. What cockpit detail level are you running at? The stick disappears when cockpit detail is set below "high".
  14. Congrats!
  15. The true story behind the Bulitt chase scene: http://hottr6.com/triumph/BULLITT.html
  16. Sounds like a deck mesh issue.
  17. Nice.... Though the Spey-powered Phantoms had reddish afterburner flames.
  18. Another "meaningful" coincidence; The actor/stunt driver of the Pontiac Bonneville in the Seven Ups, was Bill Hickman, who was also the stunt driver/actor who drove the Charger R/T in Bulitt, and also drove the Pontiac Le Mans in The French Connection (as a stunt driver). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Hickman The Bullit chase was sort of redone for the last episode of the Alcatraz series;
  19. The Bullitt chase scene was not intended to be "fun".
  20. And probably the longest, was the "Eleanor" chase from the original gone in 60-seconds, filmed back in 1974. I've not seen the flick in quite a few years, and watching these videos was a pleasant surprise. Enjoy! PART 1 PART 2 PART 3
  21. The sound pack had no instructions regarding this? I will post instructions when I get home from work tonight.
  22. Did you add the sounds into the soundlist.ini?
  23. My truck returns between 8-9 KM/Liter commuting back and forth from work. My daily round trip commute is 100 miles/160 KM.
