  1. Has anyone else noticed this issue since upgrading to the May 2013 patch? The sky is so hazy during sunset and sunrise, much more so than before. Any fixes?
  2. WOW!!
  3. In addition to the problems already mentioned, I have been 100% unable to fix shimmering in all terrains and the overall graphics quality is worse in each game than it was pre-patch. Oh well hopefully a fix will come soon!
  4. Hopefully this fire wont be as bad as last year's. Good Luck Typhoid
  5. Yeah that's what I was afraid of. Thanks
  6. I just upgraded my Nvidia graphics card driver, and upgraded DX to the latest version. Then as soon as I started a mission I noticed this... I can't seem to get rid of it, and it happens in all settings and games. Any ideas on how to fix it?
  7. Wow! Thanks for sharing!
  8. Reinstalled the Mig-31 and added the lines you provided, it worked this time. Thanks again!
  9. It's the Mig-31M, thanks for the brightness info I'm not sure why I didn't think of that.
  10. Thanks So far nothings fixed the rudders, but it's not a big deal. Also anyone know how to reduce contrast and brightness?
  11. I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this rudder issue I've noticed with the Mig-31. I've tried messing around with the data.ini but so far nothing seems to fix this. Any Ideas? Also I've noticed that ever since I installed the May2013 patch, the contrast and brightness of explosions, reflections, and thrust plumes is very high. What is the correct way to make contrast and brightness levels less? Thanks
  12. Not much as far as I've seen.
  13. Well I reinstalled SF2 with the May 2013 patch and it looks a lot better with antialiasing set to 4. Not sure why but it works.
  14. I'm going to reinstall SF2 and see if this fixes the issue.
  15. Tried it and still same issue, thanks though Centurion-1
  16. Not sure why, but there are several issues with this patch so far. Hopefully fixes will be released soon.
  17. Sorry everybody, my bad. Well I changed ForceDirectX9 from False to True and the debrief screen came up after a mission. However the effects are now all screwed up and look terrible, it's not worth having the effects look so bad so now I'm back to the original issue. Didn't notice this last night because I just started a mission and ended it to see if this fixed the issue. It was today that I noticed the bad effects. Looks like I will just have to go back to the June 2012 patch.
  18. I just installed the May 2013 patch and everything seems to be fine except for one thing. If I set the antialiasing setting in the options.ini to higher than 4, I can't seem to get a mission to go to the debriefing screen when I'm finished. Befor the 2013 patch I had the antialiasing set to 16 and everything was fine. Not sure why this is happening, so does anyone have an idea? Once again the game and missions work fine, but as soon as a mission ends the screen just goes black and the debriefing screen never comes up.
  19. Thanks guys, sorry for the huge pic.
  20. Is there a way to prevent these display/graphics settings to stop appearing in all startups for missions and campaigns? Not sure how.
  21. Even though the F-22A has limited air to ground capability, it is still the best air to air weapon in the world. The F-15C is also only a single role fighter and getting old very fast. The life support system issues are being fixed according to a friend stationed out at Langley. Even a single F-22 with a external Sniper targeting pod is much stealthier than a F-16 or FA-18, despite only carrying 2,000 lbs of bombs it could do the mission without the support of SEAD or EW aircraft. Carrying GPS weapons doesn't require a targeting pod anyways if the target has already been identified. These capabilities may not be enough to save the F-22's reputayion as a multirole fighter, but as an air superiority fighter it is unmatched. Too much is being expected from the F-35 and tests are showing this, carrying enough weapons as an F-16 or F/A-18 requires it to carry bombs externally which compromises its stealth, and other tests have shown it is inferior to the ancient F-15 and SU-27 in the air to air role. What the U.S. needs are more F-22s and upgraded F-16s and F/A-18s instead of the F-35.
  22. Thank God the pilot is safe. Too bad though another Eagle was lost, the USAF needs those too badly and can't afford a high attrition rate. Maybe more F-22's will be funded in the future but for now the 30 year old F-15C is still very important.
  23. Thanks for Sharing, love the MiG-29.
