  1. Well, these are the updated .inis for testing. I wish to make several disclaimers though: 1. Data - I've included the AI sections based off TW's F-4F, and some hardpoint fixes. FM is NOT modified at all (since I am not an FM guru). 2 sets of data.inis and loadout.inis are included, one with normal hardpoints and the other allowing asymmetrical loadouts in the inner wing pylons. 2. Cockpit - Not much changes here, although for best effect you must have MF's F-4E cockpit in the cockpit folder, since I've implemented opening cockpit in the data.ini now (using animation key 10, which should be Shift + 0). As far as I'm concerned there is virtually no radical cockpit changes (like MFDs). 3. Avionics - Bits you need in the cockpit folder are the following: F-18A_radarPPI.bmp and F-18_DTV.tga. One to make sure that ground radar works, the other is just for TV displays. I wish to say that I do NOT claim accuracy for this (people like Crusader might know far better than me). 4. The tanks reuse the .lods included in the F-4F series package, I just set it in the way so that only the 90J/ICE tanks would be selectable (instead of stray 72J tanks or something like that appearing in the loadout). 5. I'm modding an aircraft which I'll never get to see in my entire lifetime, so bear with me. That's the reason I've put it here for testing first... 6. Anything, feel free to make suggestions and changes or anything here. Might as well have everyone participate in the effort, baby steps first.     It was never pretty. Took a lot of hassling and lot more to get everyone to work, and unfortunately, back then our navy (like rest of the military that time) were too under-equipped to do anything, plus everyone have no idea what was going on. Added is the fact that the boat people is entirely another problem we're facing (most people think that this country is a safe haven, and by that time massive policy changes were being introduced).
  14. Those guys in the German section might have seen these bad boys. JG 71 Richthofen (original JG 74 skin by Sundowner), since they are the last squadron to fly these: What is still missing: Probably some negligible detail bits, and they would most likely reuse all of the serials from the F-4F pack (since most of the ICE aircrafts belonging to disbanded squadrons were sent to the JG 71...except for one - 37+16 - which I'm probably omitting from selection for reasons below). WDT 61 Luftwaffe Flight Test Center (original skin by Jarink), Luftwaffe EF-2000's flight test partner: What is still missing: Fin band's inscription, and the logo on the fuselage. LOTS of detail work to be done, and unfortunately it is going to be 1024 x 1024 only. Part of an F-4F ICE update I'm currently doing...sorta. Would use ICE-specific tanks (reusing the old models), and a ground radar based off that of F/A-18's (which makes sense since they use essentially the same radar). Canopy can be opened, though I think you need to do some DIY work to see it from INSIDE.

  19. bobrock is currently making a proper F.3 mod. Just patiently wait for it, his version of the F.3 is showing lots of promise.
  20. Believe me, the rivet counting is getting old. Seems like there are people that expect everything to be PERFECT, when half of the time we tried to work above the limitations of everything. As I've said on a blog post at my own blog: P.S. To those that actually bothered to read, I wasn't flaming any particular community. Just some people that insisted that everything else is like whatever Stilgr/whatever wanted.

  24. The ones on the outer wing pylons are. Specifically BSU-49/B AIR bombs.
