All tiles are made. Now the fine tuning starts. The transition from one tile to an other still have to corrected. The water tiles have to blended with the sea tiles. Then the jpg files have to converted to tga. TGA alpha channel have to create. Then the high field of the island has to fixed. And finally the trees and buildings of TOD objects have to place. It's a long way to go.

Since i made the new tiles for Alderney, Sark and Hern Island is was not happy with the look of Guernsey. Thatswhy i have started to make new tiles for Guernsey Island. The coastline tiles and some inland tiles are already finished. The rest of the inland tiles have to be done. The screenshots showing a flight from east to west. The tiles right of the plane and the coastal tiles are new, the tiles left of the plane are old design. Here you see the transition of new coastal tile and old inland tile. Guernsey Airport is now loacted exactly on the position given by sat pictures. It's still a long way, but it's an beginning.

Blueprints of the Convair 201 were stolen by east german intelligence service HVA. The plane was reengeneered by aircraft factory Flugzeugwerft Dresden. From 1985 ist was built as FWD-85 Bussard.

I had started to write a MiG-21 book some years ago, but an other author was faster and offered his manuscript to the publishing house, while i was still on writing. Bad timing.

A parked plane middle on the runway is a sign, that one of the parking positions in the airfield.ini is wrong. It's the terrainbuilders fault. Mandatory screenshots: Belgian Thunderstreaks over the English Channel.

A black plane means, that there is no texture file available. Often the LOD need a jpg file and only a bmp file is in the texture folder.

I think with 500 tod objects per tile you are on the safe side. Maybe 700 will also run. But this must tested.

I think that there is a limited number for TOD objects, that are accepted by the gameengine. The others are simply ignored by the game and will not appear. I saw this behaviour of the game when i tried to set to many trees on the tile. With buildings, i think, it's the same.
