  1. Does someone know whether we have a british Marconi Type 80 radar anywhere? I need it to replace the old WW2 radar net with a british radar of the 1960th timeframe.
  2. Aerodrom Le Havre-Octeville Scenery screenshots
  3. I mean you must convert the LOD file by editing the center in the MAX file. So you can make a flyable plane to a static plane. You cant use one LOD for both, static and flying.
  4. No it is not possible. The center of the LOD is different for static planes and flyable planes. If you use a flyable plane, like the Boeing 707, as static model, it will look in game as it would be half sunken in the soil.
  5. Lazy ground crew at Aerodrom Guyancourt.
  6. Aerodrom Guyancourt, a smaller airfield with two parallel runways. Civil used.
  7. Flugzeugwerke Dresden, FWD KF-79 Bussard Reengineered F-5E clone, with single east german engine Pirna024.
  8. With a range of 1.000 km and 1.900 km with droptanks, the MiG-17 would have had the legs to fight over South England.
  9. Mirage 2000C over Paris Orly Airport (WIP)
  10. Yes, Airbus is outside the timeframe. I make the terrain for the 1960th. After the experiences of 6-days-War in 1967 nearly all european nations added hardened shelters to their airfields in the 1970th. For the timeframe of 1970th and 80th an other rebuilt of the terrain would be neccessary.
  11. US Secretary of State Blinken promised to deliver F-16 fighter jets to Vietnam in mid-2024.
  12. Boeing 707, 727 and Caravelle would be welcome. A 747 i already have, but it does not fit in the timeframe of the terrain.
  13. The last screenshots of my updated Kuril Islands terrain, before i had blown up the terrain accidently, beyond repair.
  14. Paris Orly (WIP), run- and taxiway layout made after an air photo from 1956. I had to make the airport a little bit smaller, so that it fit into the 2 x 2 km tile.

    RIP Snook

Get a new one. It brings happiness back.
  16. And the french called one of their helicopters Panther.
  17. Panther is a name of german tanks. This is the newest one: KF-51 Panther It's in the test phase since last year. It's expected to be combat ready in 2025.
  18. Aerodrom Villacoublay, south of Paris
  19. 1940. Battle of Britain. "Bis endlich der Feind am Boden liegt, und England, und England und Engeland besiegt!" ( Until the enemy finally lies on the ground, and England, and England and England defeated down!)
