Dave, I can totally re-do it if you want, how much time to I have? There's nothing to the camo itself, being all white, but I'd want to re draw the panel lines, add more detail, weathering etc. Anybody know what color it would be under the white, bare metal or something else? JB5

View File Desert AMX-13 Here is the AMx-13 in a "hi-res" (1024X1024) skin. Often called Israel's "first modern tank", also used by the French 7th Division at Suez. Model I believe made by Pasko (?) years ago. Low poly with weird mapping, I have done the best I can with it. Drop the contents of the AMX-13 folder in the GroundObject folder in your Mod directory. Also includes an A2G mission (place in your Missions folder in your Mod directory) to see the AMX easily. -This file is FREEWARE . Dave, I can do the Sea Fury and the Corsair, I'm also working on something else that you might be able to use. Is their any pics as to what is needed for the Sea Fury and Corsair? Any links to templates by the way? I can do without, if I have to, it'll take longer of course though. JB5

Guys, in XP where is this file? Can't find it anywhere in any folder. I'm also missing folders like Control, PilotData Screenshots, and Missions. Am I supposed to copy these over from an old copy of an SF1 install or something? Thanks JB5

I'm also running a standalone install at this time, CTD every time.

Yep, I have downloaded WOI and the Expansion Pack (I've got a few weeks until the CC bill comes - safe for now!), and I'm also getting a slightly better frame rate on SF2 than SF1. I'll have a look in the options.ini and see what tweaks I can do. Thanks for the tip. Just in general, looking through the files, where have all the folders gone? CAT files everywhere, and my old CAT extractor doesn't work. Looks like LOTS of reading to do before I can start any modding. All good though. JB5

Greetings, I've been away for a while, and lots of things have happened to SF since I was last here. Basically I know nothing of SF2. With the expansion plack (with props!!!) is out, I want to get into SF2. My system apparently will run it, but as you guys know, the real world is different. I can run any SF1 maxed on my system, but what performance will I get in SF2? My system: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.20GHz Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) 2046MB RAM DirectX 9.0c NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 512.0 MB Please keep in mind my wife will not let me spend any money (it was hard enough to get a new Saitek Cyborg joystick even though she through my old Thrustmaster out by mistake!), so my upgrade options are non-existent. I'm a pretty decent skinner (hippy vans not withstanding), I'd like to help you guys out with mods (like the one you're currently working on Dave), but if I can't run the sim at a decent level I'll stay with SF1. Yeah, definately looks like some sub-editor talking s**t, the article itself describes the effect "appears when there is a sudden drop in air pressure around aircraft travelling just above or below the speed of sound", and the sub-editor has obviously chosen above, presumably as it is way sexier.

I thought this was going to be one of those "what do you think" threads, but the pronouncement that the Su-27 is the most beautiful was unexpected. As others have said, you can't beat the Spitfire. :)

I think the most interesting thing that may happen is that the Japanese have said they'd shoot it down (with PAC-3?) if it threatened there homeland. I suppose with the Obamination already saying the US won't shoot it down under any but the most extreme circumstances somebody has to step up to the plate. Baseball is big in Japan, after all.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. I can't get the texture to show (other than the follow me at the top). The lod seems to call for only the FST_follow_b.bmp?? according to the out file. JB5

Yep, all decal.ini's will have to be changed in all mods to the format Wrench posted above to include the aircraft folder. Unless it's a bug and TK releases a hot fix...

So, do I need to patch up? And what I mean by that, are there any new features/fixes etc that would make my WoX experience better? I spent a lot of time bringing ionstalls back to where I like them, I don't want to have to do that again if there's no tangible benefits.
