Having problems with Su-17. Is it just me? And when I tried flying this myself, I crashed instantly on the runway. Other Su-17 models are fine. I remembered I modded the Iraqi planes to play the Iraqi add-on campaign before the Patch. Maybe I should try a clean install.

technical glitch? did you report this in the Third Wire forums already?

I guess more modern planes are just so powerful that you have enough ordinance to get the mission done, hit more targets of opportunity, and get back alive. :) medals are awarded for going beyond mission objectives right?

Did anyone here play the old game called Blue Max. Also enjoyed that one before Red Baron.

Although latest patch for SF2V fixed this already. :D So do you think they will fix the original WOV in the coming months?

did this fix the OV-10 spinning wildly in the runway? haven't downloaded the patch at the moment.

MiG-29's don't have engine sound and burner effects? Is it just me?

I also loved Aerodance / Aerowings for the Sega Dreamcast. You only have a realistic number of missiles and the graphics is great. But not much game options.

Glad to hear we'll have Nato Fighters for SF2E.

I'm impressed! SF2V has a lot of bugs when released compared to SF2. TK's turnaround time is quite fast this time around and took into consideration a lot of the user bug reports. Thumbs up for Thirdwire.

Get rid of IL-2 and see what happens. A different game should not affect another but I heard some conflict between IL-2 and TW sims (with regards to TrackIR and IL-2 view mod).

StreakEagle is now happy playing SF2 and SF2 Vietnam. Thirdwire changed some stuff so that we will buy the games once again. All the previous games will be remade anyway so why import to the old games. I'm not complaining as these are really good quality and each game is not expensive.

I think it's just these two cockpits. Anyway, solved my own problem by directing it to use stock A-4B as suggested by one of the posts above. Thanks guys. Had fun hunting Corsairs using the MiG-17. Feels like flying a WWII plane. But has the speed to catch up to those bigger jets.

Got SF2 Vietnam and I'm now more inclined than ever to unlock the stock MiG-17 and MiG-19. In SF2, I was able to unlock MiG-21 and Su's using Combat Ace files using standard process. But MiG-17 and MiG-19 just does not get past 90% loading (crashes). TK says this is the avionics loading phase. There are no avionics files from the cockpit downloads here for MiG-17 and MiG-19 I would like to know how to make this work as I am not familiar with modding. Has anyone gotten the MiG-17 and 19 cockpits to work with SF2 engine? Do we need an avionics ini? As a side note, I downloaded and installed MiG-15 from column5 and it does not make use of avionics and it works perfectly (but makes use of standard A4 cockpit).
