  1. depends on the plane you select if it is not BVR combat capable, no AIM-7....
  2. Indeed, as I reported in my first reply in this thread ;)
  3. not really up to details about this "mod" but the most noticeable effect is the way lights and their effects are rendered, so the fact that from some angles the same plane looks darker, almost black makes sense, it's normal sorry, couldn't help with settings, as I still have to start studying this stuff I initially used it to improve fps under windows 7...and for that it works already well, so with some tweaking, I guess it'll be perfect. Something to take into account it's that this stuff is video card related, so settings for one might give undesired effect for another...
  4. Jane's F-15 and USAF are way older, and didn't require a real video card (although having one was better) and indeed, welcome abord!!
  5. Sorry to see, don't know exacty what computer type it is , but it uses an Atom CPU These are made for low power consumption, and are really not up to it for simming. I suppose you use a Nettop or a netbook computer, hence, no real video card onboard, taking some more cpu performances away (not that there was much to take anyway) Flightsims really require a video card, something absent from this computer, the integrated chipset isn't of any help here. As far as I know, it's a no go, sorry
  6. when installing, just give the path to your mods (depends from your system if not altered) not the game main directory
  7. réinstalle DX9.0... au besoin je t'enverrai la dll manquante demain
  8. tried it right now, downloaded file is well an exe file you should check your settings
  9. Indeed, up to this day, no "integrated" solution provides enough power to run a flightsim correctly
  10. well, I think you're wrong the way I understand it, tanks can be built so that their skin is linked to the plane skin, on a specific map of course so when you chnage the skin, if necessary the colors of the tanks can differ, something that has always be possible by "cheating" with the system Good thing is that now, the color of the tanks being linked to a skin, you don't need to select it yourself, it's automatic
  11. Celeron CPU ain't ideal for video games, what about the video card?
  12. as for the pic, it's a G model, which didn't appear during the VietNam war era, and as it had a very specific mission (SEAD), its loadout can't be considered "standard", although the Standard (AGM 78) was part of its loadout....;)
  13. yes, if you didn't change default values, F to lower, V to raise
  14. indeed a good mapping is one preventing such distorsions as far as possible I don't know how to map, but as a skinner having created several templates from zero, I know how it affects the end result It seems mapping ain"t easy at all.....
  15. Happy Birthday Jason I for one really miss you around here. I'm not too inclined into such show but I thought Volksjager deserved to be remembered on this board He was one of the first modders for the SF family, he taught me a lot Hope all is as you wish
  16. May I suggest you to include some transparency in the decals, so they won't shine that much otherwise, very nice work
  17. Try FrontTR1 , FrontTR2 or FrontTR3 1 should be frontal part, 2and 3 side parts
  18. under Vista system, the famous "program files" main folder has some protection Best bypass being to install games in any other "hand made" folder...it removes that protection and allows writing and saving of files
  19. and the South Carolina ANG, the first ANG unit that flew vipers....back in 1981
  20. indeed decals should no reach some meshes limits, as they might bleed into adjacent ones, or strech away....this really depends upon the meshes themselves, especially their curvature
